Jim really needs to stop with the Nintendo hate boner
Jim really needs to stop with the Nintendo hate boner
TBH Nintendo is a very stubborn and old fashioned games company, and they really need to step up and reform their ideals.
Jim really needs to stop with the Nintendo hate boner
If someone would constantly put copystrikes your videos, you wouldnt grow a hate boner for them?
Jim really needs to stop with the Nintendo hate boner
He won't stop until 1. They change the Youtube platform and 2. Nintendo fanboys don't even give him a reaction to the things he says and does.
Jim really needs to stop with the Nintendo hate boner
Nintendo deserves it and it deserves worse
Stop pretending that Nintendo is immune from all of this criticism and thinking it's okay to justify all the shit they've done

He really likes to repeat himself. Mentioning things for the 10th time.
Whatever Jim's saying I really wish he wasn't such an arse about everything. I feel like he just has this obsession with attempting to conjure up some sort of needless shitstorm to cover up how uncontroversial and derivative his opinions actually are. He did it with BOTW too, just because one or two morons in the hundreds of thousands of people who read/heard his views DDOSed him. This example in question: it sucks that Nintendo discontinued the NES Classic, to make up for it they should apologise and reverse the policies they have in place that people consider bad. It's not a controversial opinion, and it's likely that the majority of people who disagree with (bar a small percentage of morons we shouldn't bother acknowledging) would at least be willing to listen to his opinion. But he isn't just expressing that opinion, he's insulting Nintendo fans and Nintendo as part of some "character" in the process. And there's no real reason to insult fans, it's just toxicity. It's hard to care about him playing a character when he's made it clear that he's expressing opinions that are 100% his and this is how he choses to do so, also that he's played that character off script in many a casual podcast for hours on end. He just keeps doing this in one way or another, I feel like Jim Sterling is a man who lives off internet shitstorms and keeps trying to artificially create them to some greater and some lesser success.
If they did that to me I would stop covering them.
Of the Youtubers I can name off the top of my head, DSP, Angry Joe and Jim all were very vocal about Nintendo's policy change with new media, and yet they still cover their games. I'm concerned people were on about them for reactionary purposes only, as they continue to cover their games, instead of doing the sensible thing of just not bothering.
