Kief in food? - General - Facepunch Forum

Yo. So... I was wondering.. Weed works fine in food. If you do the right stuff with it. You get a nice high etc... But I was wondering if kief is just as good? Or like around the same... Can't get anything else... And I was really looking forward to eat some. Only smoked b4. So will kief work fine? Of course after i do w/e is best to get most effect. I heard its best to have it in something with fat, and not water?

It does work just as good, but just like weed, you need to bind it to some sort of fat/oil. So you'd probably be better off mixing up a batch of butter and just baking something with that. [editline]10:45PM[/editline] Also, if you are gonna do this, be aware that the high isn't like a regular smoking high. It will be metabolised slower and can last between 4 and 12 hours (red eyes easily last 10-14 hours).

Two questions about eating... a) Is it possible to eat green? if so? How do I do it? Do I make cannibutter or whatever? b) Is the high more or less potent?

(never tried it)[/QUOTE] We tried this about a week ago. We had a bunch of vaped herb leftover, and we figured that if it worked in brownies, it'd work in firecrackers. It didn't :geno: We took 4 crackers (between 2 people). On each cracker, we spread some chunky peanut butter (no creamy, unfortunately) and then put roughly .2-.4 grams of the vaped herb on the peanut butter and then covered that with more peanut butter. We then put them (without covering them with foil) in the oven at 275 degrees for 20 minutes. Got the directions from Cha-Cha (242-242), so I don't know how reliable they were. We were baked as hell when we ate them, and didn't notice any significant difference.

I don't know what the fuck you're talking about.[/QUOTE] I think you read wrong, the brownies weren't air tight, the weed inside the brownies were, what I mean is that if you heat the weed and it vaporises inside the brownie-mix, it might have time to stick to fat while if you just vaporise it in the oven without foil, it might just stay in the oven and go away with the air flow.
