After previously stating he would not drop out if he lost his home state to Trump, he drops out after losing his home state to Trump.
Marco Rubio suspended his Republican presidential campaign Tuesday after losing the primary in Florida, his home state, to Donald Trump. “It is clear that while we are on the right side this year, we will not be on the winning side,” Rubio told supporters in Miami, adding: “My campaign is suspended.”
http://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2016/03/11/republican-debate-donald-trump-marco-rubio-islam-bts-orig-vstan-cws-03.cnn/video/playlists/marco-rubio-2016/ http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/03/15/rubio-suspends-gop-presidential-campaign-after-florida-loss.html?intcmp=hpbt1
Miami (CNN)Marco Rubio pledged to go on to Utah "irrespective" of Tuesday night's results in the Florida Republican presidential primary, where recent polls show Donald Trump with a double-digit lead over the home state senator.
http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/15/politics/marco-rubio-campaign-florida-utah/index.html
they're dropping like flies

As a Miamian I'm really disappointed to hear that Marco "I'm a climate change denier even though my state will be underwater in a hundred years" Rubio won't be our next president.

hoping more votes go to Kasich and he pulls an upset but I doubt thatll happen
hoping more votes go to Kasich and he pulls an upset but I doubt thatll happen
Hopefully Kasich becomes the nominee, all Cruz and Kasich needs to do is win more states or prevent Trump from getting 1,237 delegates. But the Republicans want someone who can possibly beat Hilary or Sanders, and well, a good amount believe Trump can do that. To be sure, does the RNC have to support Trump if by the end of the primaries in June, there is nobody with 1,237 delegates?
someone else pointed it out first but its ironic that hes talking about being humble while liking his own quote
Well you see he saw that he was wrong. The way to win in the world is be vain and self-absorbed so you got to like your own things and tell people what's best for you is best for them.
Rubio's campaign went right into the pits when Christie called him out on being a robot
Rubio's campaign went right into the pits when Christie called him out on being a robot
I actually wonder if he would've had a chance had Christie not exposed flaws in his programming.
Hey another hungry 4 power games segment [editline]16th March 2016[/editline]
Hopefully Kasich becomes the nominee, all Cruz and Kasich needs to do is win more states or prevent Trump from getting 1,237 delegates. If Trump walks in there with 1236 delegates and they don't run him, then they will have a lot of pissed off republicans
what I'm thinking will happen is even though Donald Trump is leading the popular vote, The GOP does not want to be seen endorsing Drumpf, otherwise their image would blow the fuck up. We might actually see a brokered convention. Romney's SuperPAC is now starting to attack Drumpf because they know the damage will be done on them, not Trump. Political parties are not part of the government, they haven't much regulation in how they choose their candidate for office. Sure, it'll be terrible PR and will probably permanently destroy a large portion of their voter base's faith in them, but they don't have to go with what the people pick.
"My campaign is suspended. My campaign is suspended. My campaign is suspended."
If trump wins does he have to make his personal finances public?
Can You see it? Glorious victory of the chosen one Liberal media will drown in their own tears!
Can You see it? Glorious victory of the chosen one Liberal media will drown in their own tears!
Would it be such a bad thing if the media in general just floated away?
Cruz is pretty much the last real obstacle for Trump now. If he manages to beat Cruz then the general elections will be smooth sailing I'd wager.
Cruz is pretty much the last real obstacle for Trump now. Let's dispel once and for all with this fiction that Marco Rubio doesn't know what he's doing. He knows exactly what he's doing. Marco Rubio is undertaking a systematic effort to change this country, by ending his campaign, 90% of his votes will go to everyone but trump.

If only there was a preferential system in place so, when one person dropped out, each voter's second choice would be honored instead of arbitrary reassignment.
Let's dispel this notion that Rubio wasn't going to drop out. Either way, it's pretty clear that Trump is getting the nomination. The anti-trump vote in the GOP has been split between too many candidates, and now he's way ahead.

I lost my shit when his last words were "a little water". He knows he's a living meme.
Next one will be Kasich
If the republican party nominates Trump, I'm re-registering as independent and I'm feeling that I'm not the only one.
Ya it's a calculus for them, if they don't run Trump they loose his votes, if they do run Trump they will loose a lot of votes...
Cruz would have quit already if he could find the exit.
RIP Rato-kun
