They say that the Dark Brotherhood cums in your cheese.
It's how they recruit their members!

The second one is a lot better.
Holy shit did the potato faces in Oblivion really look that bad?
Like thinking back they were bad but not that bad, I must have blocked it out like a trauma victim or something.
This makes me want to play Oblivion. Sad to say but it was the first RPG I played not counting Pokemon if that's even considered an RPG. In retrospect there were a lot of poor design decisions in Oblivion, and the world was not particularly unique. However I do believe that the quests and main quest were much more interesting in comparison to Skyrim.
i loved how oblivion only had like 4 voice actors it wasn't jarring at all /s

I played the game on ultra-low settings, and even went as far as to edit ini files in the game to make it run better, (and look worse), and I still thought the game looked fucking amazing back then. I remember seeing screenshots in a magazine before it came out and was just dumbfounded at how good it looked.
Honestly I haven't really felt that way about any of the later advances in graphics, I'm still interested in any improvement but I seriously do think 2004-2006 was a pretty massive advancement in computer graphics, and I don't feel nearly as overwhelmed with the newly initiated generation of consoles.

Oblivion is my favorite of the 3D Elder Scrolls games. Morrowind is too before my time and it's pretty much impossible for me to get into it and while I enjoyed Skyrim and it had some good improvements over Oblivion(Unfortunately with some downgrades too.) there's something about Oblivion that makes me remember it more.
I don't know why, but there's something almost charming about the potato people and the game only having like 5 voice actors. I can remember almost every quest, where most of the special equipment is, and even though most of the NPCs sound the same, most of them were a lot more memorable than the ones in Skyrim to me.
That and I think that Shivering Isles is one of the best DLCs ever, which added even more charm to the game.

Yeah, those years were a blast.
Going from Gothic 1/2 graphics to Gothic 3, from Morrowind graphics to Oblivion, Modern Warfare....
It was really good back then. It is also the time when physics were being implemented in video games.
