The game doesn't look very interesting to be honest, the blobs of units don't help either.
The game doesn't look very interesting to be honest, the blobs of units don't help either.
Kinda reminds me of everything I hated about Command and Conquer
Reminds me of Act of War, which they also made.
The base building looked great, and I really need a good strategy game right now, but the units didn't look interesting at all. Way too fast pace I guess.
I'm really not seeing a hook for this game. It just looks like act of war.
I'm really not seeing a hook for this game. It just looks like act of war.
That's exactly why I'm looking forward to it. AOW was one of my favourite RTS but it shows its age in many ways.
Honestly the problem with most RTS these days is artillery is OP as shit, that's because artillery irl is kind of OP as shit. It'd be really interesting to see a rts more focused on say mechanized infantry and small scale skirmishes, that isn't really clunky like men of war.
I'm cautiously hyped for this, it's not really awesomely special or anything yet it looks kinda fun to me.

This looks just like Act of War.
The game doesn't look very interesting to be honest, the blobs of units don't help either.
They're going back to the classic RTS style of base building and resource collecting.
I think this might be the first "proper" RTS since 2010ish?
I'm gonna pick this up, the devs are responsible for my favorite RTS games, and really don't let down. Also this game looks way better now than it did in early previews.
I think this might be the first "proper" RTS since 2010ish?
Grey Goo is definitely a "proper" rts.
While it doesn't looks massively interesting, at least someone is making fucking RTS', there's almost no one who makes decent RTS' any more. Last RTS I bought was CoH 2 and it was disappointing as fuck
act of war was great but this game just proves that eugen is pretty much incapable of developing a new original product [editline]12th June 2015[/editline] that dosent suk
They look exactly like Task Force Talon from AoW.
Looks good so far but the effects (explosions/fire/ etc.) look a little weird and out of place tbh.
