Hello everyone. Before I start, I'd like to let you all know that I am typing on a really rubbish netbook, so my sentences may seem incoherent, because my keys like to stick down. Anyways; where to begin? There is a guy in my town named Tony. I went to school with him, yet I never really associated with him other than the few times we sat at lunch together and conversations never got far for quite a few reasons. Tony was a guy that got bullied a lot, and generally the teachers would bring the hammer down onto these people, but every so often, they would say something to his face and really hurt him. Eventually, Tony wound up sitting by himself at the lunch table, essentially completing the last two years he had left at school, by himself, and hanging out with people much similar to him. Tony is a really nice guy. From his posts on Facebook, and seeing him in public with the one or two true friends he has, I've noticed that he is extremely depressed. When he laughs, you can detect an aroma of gloom deep within him, and when he smiles, it is incredibly forced. I've seen Tony out in town a few times, whilst hanging with my friends, and never have I decided to confront him until now. In a nutshell, Tony was kicked out of his house by his mother. From what I understand, even his family doesn't support him, which makes me feel a really deep pity for him. The guy seriously is trying to get on his feet, yet it seems like he is heading directly into hurricane force winds that want to prevent him from all of the things in life that are luxurious to him, such as a job and a few friends with kind hearts. You're probably asking yourself why I'd be posting this, and for those of you who have seen my very seldom posts in the 'Depression' thread, you can probably tell that I want to give this guy money, and meet up with him and let him know that people actually do care. So far, a few of the people who used to go to High School with me have been helping him by giving him a house to stay in and a place to sleep, but for how long? My goal is to raise 500 dollars for this guy, which is sadly only enough to keep him on his feet for awhile. I figure even the least bit helps. In all honesty, I understand scumbags have ruined you in the past, Facepunch. I know you will have doubts, and many of you will argue for proof, but the only real proof I have is some of his Facebook posts: Here is a picture of Tony catching a fish. I assume it's one of his favorite hobbies because he does it a lot. P.S, he's trying to be funny :P I am trying to find a way where I can legitimately raise money for him without there being a concern over whether I am trustworthy or not, but I genuinely can't and help is really appreciated. I wont post a PayPal until I know it is alright with the moderation and Facepunch in general to do so.
Nope. No donation threads unless the money goes straight to charities.
