I'm guessing it'll work as long as you sand the jagged edges, apply it dry and don't put too much torsion into it, they even reinforced the front which is where the most stress would be
then again, that's easily $200 worth of flextape. same with the airboat, I bet it works but it's probably painstaking and expensive to build

Well the upshot is that unless you're a fucking moron who saws boats in half you don't need to worry about repairs that big. Of course that makes the demonstration kind of pointless because you'd never want to do anything like that.

Overall this was a pretty good video. It had me laughing. I wouldn't mind Jon doing more commercial riffs like this. One of my favorite parts was the ending segment (10:12 to 10:29).
