The family portraits of the future: They're seven inches high, cost £60 and coming to a supermarket near you The world's first high speed 3D full body scanner hitting the high streets http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2674513/Mini-models-family-portraits-future-Theyre-seven-inches-high-cost-60-coming-supermarket-near-you.html
looks like it was taken with a digital camera....from the 90s id rather stick to high quality images for the future TYVM
It gave the kid on the left a Fro and the wrong hair colour.
Detail in the shape is pretty good. Now the painted detail on the other hand looks like they ran out of paint about halfway through. Neat idea though.
Why did the one tall kid shrink and get an old Justin Bieber haircut

Madam Tussuads this is not.
This could be useful if you wanted precise models to tailor fit armor/costumes/etc.
they look like the passenger models for train simulator
This could be useful if you wanted precise models to tailor fit armor/costumes/etc.
I dunno, they don't look very precise to me.
This could be useful if you wanted precise models to tailor fit armor/costumes/etc.
Plus in the OP it states there seven inches in height man, so unless making stuff for action figures, I doubt you could use it for that.

Some sick bastard is going to take the girl they love, get her 3D printed, carve a hole, stick a fleshlight in and do shit. I know it.
So this is where cheaple are made?
I'll take five!
Some sick bastard is going to take the girl they love, get her 3D printed, carve a hole, stick a fleshlight in and do shit. I know it.
I'm pretty sure the immediate and unconditional response from most women to the question "uh... can I have a lifesize 3D statue of you?" will be a resounding no The fact that the initial requirement is you have to be fucked in the head doesn't better the odds of this happening
Some sick bastard is going to take the girl they love, get her 3D printed, carve a hole, stick a fleshlight in and do shit. I know it.
Maybe if they have a micropenis. The figures are 7 inches tall.
the kid on the left didn't shrink, the 3d printed sculpture's picture is just taken from a higher angle. [editline]30th June 2014[/editline] wait shit nvm those figures are 7inches lmao
Having a small model of a person you know has creepiness potential. From Voodoo and up. Cool stuff, though.
Could you just scan yourself and get the model files without the printing part?
Some sick bastard is going to take the girl they love, get her 3D printed, carve a hole, stick a fleshlight in and do shit. I know it.

They're seven inches high
That's a small.. fleshlight
The weird part is really just the faces because of uncanny valley but the paint details are pretty amazing in some of the clothing like the blue shirt and the jeans.
I'm going to take the girl I love, get her 3D printed, carve a hole, stick a fleshlight in and do shit.
That's a small.. fleshlight
I think he meant generally, not referring specifically to these seven inch models.
Some sick bastard is going to take the girl they love, get her 3D printed, carve a hole, stick a fleshlight in and do shit.
How did you even come up with that I mean I don't doubt some fucker is gonna do that buy how did you like, the idea how did you even get it
Haven't we all thought of doing it?
There are more services like this that are a few hundred dollars more expensive, but give finished products leagues more accurate than the sculptures shown here. Though, these services are harder to come by. A damn shame, really. I could imagine having a statue made of me in a vulgar pose and setting it next to animu figurines.
the shitty kinect + rotating platter set-up we have at school scans better than this shit
That's a small.. fleshlight
literally just a segment of gummy worm
How did you even come up with that I mean I don't doubt some fucker is gonna do that buy how did you like, the idea how did you even get it
I used to hang around with the wrong group of people.
