Hey guys, I'm looking for a guitar amp.
I'd like to spend around £100 on it. I really don't mind how loud it can go, I just care about the quality.
I'll be using this guitar: http://www.ibanez.co.jp/products/eg_page11.php?data_id=260&color=CL03&area_id=3&year=2011&cat_id=1&series_id=490
I'm not really going for a specific style of play.
I'll be using this for playing at home, practicing.
Don't really know what else to say. Thanks In advance. Just ask if there is anything else you'd like you know.
If your using it at home/practice, I wouldn't worry about quality unless you'll have it loud.
I'd recommend, personally,
www.fender.com/products/search.php?partno=2311000000 if you want small
www.fender.com/products/search.php?partno=0231502000 if you want more toys to tinker with.
Above all, I'd recommend the fender g-dec.

The older model, specifically. Prices may vary, but it should be around your price range. It's perfect for practice, as it has TONS of effects to play around with, such as distortion, or flanger, plus the ability to record yourself, and play over yourself is brilliant. I got it, and don't regret it ever.
Quality is fine, I've had it go really loud, noticed no issues there.
I have a Marshall Valvestate 8080 I got refurbished on EBay for roughly $230-260, you could try looking around for one.
It's kinda loud for just practice, but it's a great amp, I love mine.
Must say, that Fender G-Dec is looking rather nice. That would be perfect with all the customization and things. However, having looking round, its a little bit out of my price range, £100 is pretty much what i'd like to pay tops. I'll go over, but only if it really is worth it.
Is there anything like that fender, just bit cheaper? (also, it looks like it's quite hard to find in the UK)
The Roland Cube amps are alright for just practicing at home if you're not all that worried about quality or on a budget, at least in my opinion.

I don't know how they compare to Fender's amps, though.

I think the Cube is pretty much what OP is looking for.

That's a good amp, and rather inexpensive for what you get. I have the larger version and it's great.

That looks rather good actually, in my price range too. Looks like it has all the features I'll look into that one, :D
Still open to other suggestions however :)
Never... Never buy any Line IV Spider amp.. They suck really hard, especially when it's for home.
Buy what you think sounds good to you.
