I may speak for a fair chunk of the population when I say that I've noticed a fair decline in the amount of respect and discipline that the younger generations have today. From what I've heard from parents and the older generations is that it all started when the country abolished corporal punishment. Thats right. The Belt. Generations of little shits giving birth to even worse little shits. Each generation's discipline even more worse as the last. Get them early. Get them young In school. With the belt. Crime drops 300% I mean, whats up with suspension and written punishments. Has anyone seriously thought that they worked?

It's all because of those damn hippies, smoked too much dope when their kids where in their bellies and ended up making them retarded.
:hitler:
I agree
ITT: 12-year-olds stating that children need more discipline
ITT: 12-year-olds stating that children need more discipline
I'm 20 y/o wise-ass.
At least bring back the paddle, that actually was something to be afraid of. Suspension is still stupid IMO, the child misbehaves, so give him a few days off?
I'm 20 y/o wise-ass.
Yes, and you are the only person posting here.
I hate this generation. I hope they all get fucking punched in the face with a sledgehammer fist or something. Sad thing is they're just going to grow up, have kids, be idiots and it will continue until humanity is nothing but immature assholes.
Yes, and you are the only person posting here.
oh, you. i see what you did there.
I hate this generation. I hope they all get fucking punched in the face with a sledgehammer fist or something.
We should start a group or somthing and vote to get them all sterilized.
Oh thanks! Asshole.
Parents are afraid to hit their kids because they think they'll go to jail &/or dont want to treat their kids the way their parents treated them.
I was belted when I was young, as I remember it, I deserved it and my parents loved me quite a bit. I agree and think it's just about the only proper way to raise children. Problem is people start bitching because they don't know the difference between abuse and discipline.

I mean fuck, you sound like an old geezer. Every generation says the same thing.
I think that every generation will have it's lot of little shits. It's just getting different because of the types of technologeh
Because ours was the best generation! I mean fuck, you sound like an old geezer. Kids in western cultures in the 19th and 20th centuries have always been rebellious pricks who don't listen to authority. Greasers we not just things thought up for Broadway and Hippies were not a bunch of old people that turned into your parents. As long as there has been the modern school there has always been the delinquent. Just because you hate a few kids now doesn't mean it was any better when there were whippings and lashings. The kids just became bigger assholes, that's it. Corporal punishment does jack shit except keep some kids in fear and make the others ditch school. YOU WERE NOT THERE. EVERY GENERATION OF OLD CODGERS HAS SAID THAT THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE NEXT GENERATION. THIS IS NOT NEW, GET OVER IT. Violent Crime by adolescents has NEVER been lower in the states than it is now. I'm fine with that.
Schools especially in the US need to develop discipline so cruel and so BAD that it would scare the shit out of them. Seriously, when a kid comes to class late, talks back, doesn't do work, or get good grades, tie them up or shackle them and put them in a pitch black cell and while at it tell them that if they do whatever it is they did wrong - they'll never leave the cell again. That'll set them straight.
You can not honestly think teen/preteen pregnancy, vandalism, school drop out , and delinquency is not on the rise. It's going at an exponential level.
It's not, actually it's at the lowest point in years.
A message to idiot kids: :fuckoff:
Yeah man fuck kids
You know some scientists have shown that it fluctuates. You have strict/mean/punishing parents whose kids are more disciplined. Those kids become liberal/nice/unpunishing parents who give birth to undisciplined children. Those kids grow up to be strict/mean/punishing parents, etc. Wait until this generation has time to make kids and you'll likely see that things will get slightly better. Of course overall there's a decrease in discipline int he world as far as children go no matter how strict the parents, but that has more to do with society and the media and the world going down the shitter and less with parenting. I know if I get kids (and I don't want any) if they do something they shouldn't they're getting a nice slap across the face.
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA. no. I'd rather NOT be abused, thank you
