Zoombinis - A Logical Journey of Childhood Flashbacks

I used to play this when I was a kid and, looking back, it tricked me and countless other children into having fun with algebra. A toast to the Zoooombinis!

The introduction video is from the first Zoombinis game, "The Logical Journey of the Zoombinis". It was later renamed to "Zoombinis: Logical Journey". The sequels don't seem as great and one of them attempted to make the Zoombinis 3D, which totally killed the beautiful hand-drawn art.

OH MY FUCKING GOD NOSTALGIA SO HARD.

Goddamn pizza stumps
being french, the narrator had no effect on me.
But oh shit the god damn music made my nostalgia go far up.
Loved playing this game.
I never played Zoombinis, but fucking hell, I remember Treasure Mountain.

Or was it Seeker? I can't remember

Oh wait that was Treasure Mathstorm. I remember that one a lot more.
I'm confusing them.
Brings back the memories.
That pizza gobbling sonofabitch was an asshole though

I played it the other day. It was like a nostalgia nuke. Especially the noise of the tree stump moving
I got my mom to use this as a teaching aid at he elementary school she teaches at.
It was a big hit with the kids, but the network admin guy decided that it was evil and a virus.
Ahh the old days. Mr's Thompson with zoombinis.
oh jesus christ nostalgiagasm
I found this a few weeks back and actually had an orgasm
Wow, I just got teleported into my past. I loved this.
Oh god, the memories.
I just got slapped with a chicken breast of nostalgia, thank you for awakening these long lost feelings, I love this game.
I found my old copy of the game and I'm going to setup an experiment with my nephew to see if it still appeals to newer generations. I think it should work with Windows 7 with a bit of tweaking!

I absolutely LOVED this game when I was a lad. Me and my friend got as far as the 3rd island in a single run. We got school cred for weeks :smug:
And I thought I couldn't nostalgia any more today. I was wrong.
I was fucking scared as shit of the Abyss level, because whenever I lost a Zoombini to the bubble whirlpools the game made me believe that the Zoombini had fallen into the ether and would never return, ever. I spent hours making sure that I could get every Zoombini safely across the Abyss before getting another batch. I'm still scared of that level.
I borrowed this off my friend when I was young, and loved every minute of it, (well, untill I tried to get every last zoombini to their new home)
We were even talking about it a few weeks ago.
I remember playing this in my school library where all the teachers loved this game as well. We learned about fractions with making pizza.
I'm glad I still have this game :P
I wish I still had this :saddowns:

I'm sure if you search the bargain bins you'll be able to find it for cheap. It was redone to work with Windows XP a while back. Amazon has it for like $7. I got it working on Windows 7 32-Bit, but I had to fiddle with it. The game is still crazy fun, especially the part where you have to customize your Zoombinis.
