I searched the forum and found no posts regarding this, but if anyone wasn't aware, brief snippets and pictures of this animated short were floating around the internet, but the actual episode was only shown in film festivals or other odd areas. About a month ago, it finally aired on television and someone recorded it.

The voice actors for Courage, Muriel, and the Computer are the same, and Wallace Shawn did Eustace's voice.
If this has been posted before, I apologize.
I could've sworn this was an actual episode, not the cgi one here. Maybe it was something else that was an episode but extremely similar. I just remember the fog face being scary the first time I saw it on CN. Maybe it was another episode. Good show though.
It is definitely bringing back some good memories.
i like it. the animation is really.... off, but in a good way. It fits.
Eustace just didn't sound like an old man at all though.

that's cause he's voiced by rex from toy story
but he's still 60 so i don't know why he sounds so young
Eustace's voice sounds familiar. What other characters did Wallace Shawn do?

He was Rex in Toy Story and the principal in Goofy Movie

Was he also Mr. Incredible's boss at the insurance company?

IMDb says so.
Yes.
Please
Yes.
It's good but Eustace sounds so baaaad
I really enjoyed it, Kinda of worried how it'll manage to pull it off, episode felt kinda weak story wise.
It's refreshing to see Courage in something new, even if the animation isn't quite something I'm into.
Wallace Shawn's Eustace is definitely different but I think I could get used to it

Very similar plot to "King Ramses' Curse". Ramses' ghost was also CGI. You might be thinking of that.
Considering this is the first thing Courage related in a long time, I was rather impressed. I really am missing the original Eustace but Wallace Shawn didn't do too bad.
I REALLY hope we get a revival of the Courage series. I could accept it in its current state.

I didn't realize the original VA for Eustace died of pneumonia in 2003. That's sort of sad.
But yeah, I could accept Wallace Shawn as a replacement. It still felt like Eustace. The show as a whole still felt like Courage despite the entirely different animation medium, as the style transferred pretty well I thought.
[sp]stupid fog[/sp] made me lose my shit
Even though these shows are geared towards little kids, they still genuinely scare me sometimes.
The animation makes me think I'm about to play an N64 Courage game. Not saying it's bad but I felt at any moment the screen was going to pull back and into a hud with you playing as courage. Like one of those classic 3rd person action adventure.

I want to say PS2, since I actually did play games like this. These graphics would be fucking incredible for the N64.
I didn't really like the idea of a 3d reboot because I thought the characters would look horrible like those 3d ed edd n eddy games,
but I'm actually surprise on how well it looks, especially at 3:30. They really nailed those exaggerated expressions in the 2d cartoon.
I would love see this show continue!
man I really wish a courage OST album was released, this show had the best fucking music

Courage is by far the scariest cartoon that aired on Cartoon Network. Most of the episodes still have really creepy premises

My favorite song in the entire show was Dr. Zalost's theme. You can look it up on Youtube but all of the results are missing such an incredible part of the song. You can only hear it near the end of the episode
This song has stuck with me for over a decade. Courage's soundtrack is too good.

All i could think of while watching it was him all of a sudden yelling "INCONCEIVABLE!"

Holy shit that ending theme really threw me back.
How did nobody working on this see that Muriel dissapears for one frame when she's in the fog?

You're right. We should've noticed one goddamn frame instead of enjoying the story.
