A laptop and passerby have helped save a man who was attacked with a crossbow and axe on the New South Wales Central Coast. Police said the 56-year-old man was standing in the driveway of his Somersby home when a crossbow was shot at him on Tuesday afternoon. The bolt narrowly missed the man, instead hitting his laptop, before the attacker allegedly smashed an axe into the victim's head. A passerby then came to the rescue, bringing the attack to a halt, before the assailant was arrested by police. A medieval time traveller?
the attacker allegedly smashed an axe into the victim's head.
Wasn't expecting that, seems like the axe would be more unsettling as a headline than the crossbow; but that's just me I guess
What the hell kind of stuff has this guy done to make people shoot arrows at him?
I cant understand how you can smash an axe into someone's head, and not kill them.
Vaguely reminds me of the time some kids threw rocks at cars on a highway, and then one of the cars came back and the driver shot one of the kids with a crossbow. Who the hell randomly tries to kill a man in his driveway with such weapons, anyway? Sounds like he literally just fired at the guy and then bumrushed him.
What was the guy's motive? And what kind of a crappy axe was the guy using that the victim only had to get stitches?
The attacker was also carrying knives and a piece of wire. So the plan was: 1. Crossbow 2. Axe 3. Knives, probably from smallest to biggest 4. Wire, either as a garrote or for some wildly optimistic attempt to connect him to a source of deadly electricity
Did the laptop survive?
Did the laptop survive?
Probably just busted the screen, if I had to guess.
A medieval time traveller?
Well, the Central Coast is a bit backwards, so he may have just escaped the confines of the coast.
I thought this was going to be about someone googling how to save a man from an arrow wound.
