This already happened with one guy that nobody would help because they thought he was a burglar. When the cops showed up, he ran towards them, desperate for some kind of help or ride home. No warning. They just shot him dead.

I fail to see the reasoning behind this action. Like what, there wasn't even a threath, what the hell was going through his head?

As much as I hate to say it, being detroit, probably not a legal firearm. You guys really need to stop fighting terrorists and start fixing your own problems..

It's dark, someone's running at you (possibly shouting, I don't know) and you have no idea what he wants but someone in that neighbourhood had reporting suspicious activity. I don't agree with shooting him, but that had at least [b]some[/b] reason behind it.

We live in the 21st century now, not the 18th century. Why does America still need guns in their constitution?

I can understand being apprehensive about someone knocking on your door at 2:30am but to shoot someone as they run away because you've answered the door carrying a gun, I can't even comprehend.

For one, people who still want to get ahold of guns will be able to(see: any illegal drug ever) and the people won't be able to fight back should the government take a turn for the worse.

This isn't a fucking gun thing. This is a human thing. You're all blaming the gun when it was the man who fucking killed her.

Only in a gun culture would someone be more willing to shoot someone than call the cops. People in other countries trust cops to keep everyone safe, but here, most of us have fantasies about killing bad guys instead of needing cops. It's kinda dangerous, as we can see here.
