Shoutpunch DJ Recruitment - General

As some of you might know Facepunch has it's own unofficial radiostation since around December or something. We currently have a 24/7 server, you can tune in whenever you want. We have a website with stream info and a request feature. However, we could need some presenters/DJs (again!) for live or recorded shows. That would need a good amount of music on your side, a good microphone, basic software for broadcasting and an idea of what radio is all about. Of course if you want to start a talk show we couldn't care less about music. You should have some kind of balanced understanding of music and not only play like one or two artists. You can also engage yourself as music-journalist which would involve giving us tips on what to play and always being up to date with new releases. If you think you have/can do something we might need but I haven't mentioned in this post, just ask. Metal and Rock orientated DJs are more than welcome.

I would be interested in something like this, although i don't have a good understanding of what i would need to broadcast but im sure i could pick it up rather fast. If you want to talk PM me.

I'd be up for doing this. I used to DJ in Second Life about a year ago and still have SAM. I have roughly over 5,000 songs on my hard drive. Just PM me or something.

I was going to offer to do it, I have a large and varied selection of rock and metal with some other slightly random stuff in there, just under 5800 songs. But I don't have any broadcasting software or whatever, unless I can download one for free?

Me and two other Friends would be interested in doing a talk show with music, If this appeals do let me know

You could use Winamp with that ShoutCAST add-on that's free. I used to use that before I purchased SAM.

I wouldn't mind doing this as soon as i get a mic again. I would play mostly Metal, Rock and that sort of music. :) Got a few ideas for features in a show, not sure of what i could talk about but i'm sure i can find stuff to talk about :P

I have a lot of trance. Could mix it into sets. Just don't know if you guys are interested in trance.

I've got a good amount of Metal and some Rock, and I have a Zune Pass so I could probably fill the majority of requests easily.
