[hd]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEwCvHVS394[/hd]
Fucking hell this guys intro and avatar are just.....cancer
I honestly couldn't agree more. Everyone is being a baby about it.
I honestly couldn't agree more. Everyone is being a baby about it.
People are angry due to what they see to a threat to their existence, and in some ways you cannot blame them.
If you think Trump is going to "drain the swamp" then you got fuckin played bro I wonder how long after the election the people who supported Trump will be able to use "but he isn't Hillary" as an excuse to his weaknesses as a president.
I honestly couldn't agree more. Everyone is being a baby about it.
The only people being babies, are those telling others that there is literally nothing they will ever have to fear when that is factually untrue. The reason you are being a baby is because you refuse to see what's right in front of you in a weird fucked up game of peekaboo
"If Trump does something silly or outlandish or wrong then Sargon will of course be critical of that" Wonder where the hell he was the entire campaign.
I honestly couldn't agree more. Everyone is being a baby about it.
thats so fucking edgy after trump said he's going to repeal obamacare (which gives millions health insurance they wouldn't be able to afford without it) as well as putting in a complete republican government that can let him and his extremely anti-lgbt VP do whatever he wants. not to mention you're doing complete cherrypicking since I don't see you going off and defending his top 1% picks, nor his first 100 day plan. Hmm, I wonder why.
thats so fucking edgy after trump said he's going to repeal obamacare (which gives millions health insurance they wouldn't be able to afford without it) as well as putting in a complete republican government that can let him and his extremely anti-lgbt VP do whatever he wants.
Yeah! Like me, who can't afford health insurance anymore because premiums have skyrocketed. Obamacare rules!
"If Trump does something silly or outlandish or wrong then Sargon will of course be critical of that" Wonder where the hell he was the entire campaign.
Claiming the media made it all up. Like I said, the man's a conspiracy theorist.
Yeah! Like me, who can't afford health insurance anymore because premiums have skyrocketed. Obamacare rules!
you can blame the republicans for that, who are now going to get rid of it and replace it with nothing, which isn't going to change costs at all.
Yeah! Like me, who can't afford health insurance anymore because premiums have skyrocketed. Obamacare rules!
Do you qualify for the subsidy?
you can blame the republicans for that, who are now going to get rid of it and replace it with nothing, which isn't going to change costs at all.
Okay? Then I'll blame Republicans, whoever you want to put the saddle on, I'm game. The point is that Obamacare isn't doing shit to help me and has actively made my life worse, so the idea of repealing and replacing Obamacare actually doesn't sound all that bad. I don't want to venture too far into Trump supporter territory here but I'm pretty sure he's consistently said repeal and replace, not just "let's get rid of it and let the chips fall where they may".
The only people being babies, are those telling others that there is literally nothing they will ever have to fear when that is factually untrue. That is quite literally "being a baby"

He has promoted health savings accounts that would allow you pay down your premium by using your tax return but this only helps the upper and upper-middle class who actually get large enough tax returns to pay for healthcare. He has also suggested allowing healthcare insurance providers to operate across state lines as a means to lower costs but this probably isn't going to happen. What it will allow insurance companies to do is operate in a state with very low regulations and taxes and sell insurance to anyone in the country. The ACA is flawed but if it's going to be repealed it needs to be replaced with something comparable.
thats so fucking edgy after trump said he's going to repeal obamacare (which gives millions health insurance they wouldn't be able to afford without it) as well as putting in a complete republican government that can let him and his extremely anti-lgbt VP do whatever he wants.
That's fantastic that it has but it's also squeezed middle class Americans. I'm a healthy 20 year old who hasn't needed a doctors visit in years and in my state it is $1,200 a month for my insurance. There is no other options for insurance because of the ACA. If it wasn't for my parents that pay it who flat out said they don't know what they're going to do I'd be fucked. That's insane. I won't get into defending Trump here but the video is spot on. The left dug their own grave.
We needed a Public Option. Even Obama himself said the ACA was a stepping stone and that if it were possible to come up with the best system out of scratch it would've been something similar to a single-payer system. Hillary was in favor of a single-payer system in the past but failed. Bill has talked favorably about it as well. The point I'm saying is that the only thing that would've potentially worked great is just not politically possible. We should fix the ACA and improve on it, not just get rid of it. But if we're going to fix it we need a Congress that actually cares about improving things rather than burning everything created by the opposition.
"If Trump does something silly or outlandish or wrong then Sargon will of course be critical of that" Wonder where the hell he was the entire campaign.
Not to defend the conspiratard in Sargon, but I'm pretty sure in one of his streams he answered this by saying that Trump has like 0,1% chance to win the elections, so no point focusing on his fuckups.
i don't think we have anything to fear yet but the chance of having something to fear soon is pretty high, so... [editline]10th November 2016[/editline] (talking about trumps policies)
No the ones being babies are the ones doing violent temper tantrums and protests because they didn't get what they want. did the patreon money run out already?

Don't be salty that your team lost the game. It's not like electing a president has consequences or anything haha.
I don't mind opposing points of view but Sargon of Akkad is just awful
Or rather the left gave the right a shovel with which they could dig a big moat to give water to the village, and the right used it to dig a grave for the left, then they use the shovel to carry water to the village.
The reason left got strong is because of religious right's hysterics. The left lost because it was starting to act like a fundie during the satanic panics. Which spooked people into voting hard right. I guess the lesson is dont have an ideal that generates hysteria.
I don't mind opposing points of view but Sargon of Akkad is just awful
I find him to be quite fine.
Didn't watch the video, but here's some better analysis on media and Trump from the time of the primaries (which also applies to the general election, though polling error needs to be taken into account as well): http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/just-world-bias-has-twisted-media-coverage-donald-trump-campaign-1547151
My own argument incorporates elements of the above and adds another variable: punditry has been afflicted by just-world bias. The belief that the world is a just and righteous place is one of many fallacies that is deeply rooted in human psychology, and when faced with evidence that contradicts this hypothesis, many will go to extreme lengths to adjust evidence in order to fit with their worldview. Many have found Trump's rhetoric disgusting and upsetting, and find it painful to acknowledge that policies such as a temporary ban on Muslim immigration to the US are vote-winners. Few want to admit that in a democracy is that there are only limited returns to appearing wise and virtuous. Belief in the goodness of the mob is a refined version of the just-world hypothesis, one that is especially prevalent amongst modern-day elites. Antoine de Rivarol's dictum lies ignored: "The monarch may be a Nero, but he is sometimes a Titus or Marcus Aurelius; the people is often a Nero and never a Marcus Aurelius".

Didn't watch the video
Ah yes, truly the best way to disregard a video and look like a utter fool.
