It's sad because no matter what a kid with same gender parents will feel different/confused at some point. It will be this way until our society is more accepting. I mean, kids at a young age will find ANYTHING about you to make fun of. And today, having same gender parents is still obviously not the norm. Of course a young kid will think having two dads or moms weird. But it's really wrong how the teacher in the video, who is expected to be tolerant and knowledgeable, also bashes the idea. What a confusing time we live in.

It's ignorant to think a child wont be affected by having two dads or moms. Especially in our society. It's just the truth. However, it might be even worse having just one parent. But divorce is becoming normal. More and more kids have just one parent, and they arn't as affected as they used to be. Same needs to happen with gay marriage. It needs to become more popular and accepted before children should be brought in to it, in my opinion. Unless they adopt a kid old enough to acknowledge and be okay with it.

The child at first wouldn't care at first, they'd think it was normal and it's what every family looks like. But then the child would develop and realise and when the child got to go school, nasty children (and there always are some) would just destroy the child's self-confidence.
