Controversial figure Tudd Fudders is appointed position of Moderator on Facepunch

For the past few days, well-known Facepunch opposition leader, Tudd Fudders, has had his account banned for posting, what has been generally considered, insensitive and morally dubious opinions on a thread about the supposed catatonic states some refugee children enter when they are denied residency in Sweden. Tudd Fudders, skeptical of whether or not these incidents are real, gave several comments that sound horrendously dark without the proper context, and thus will not be included in this article to shield viewers from the horror of them. Many users quickly reacted with disgust, some calling him “a monster”, suggesting that he should “seek help”, and a few even suggesting the reasons for making such a horrific post were entirely political, asking questions to him such as “Do you think these children… should be deported anyway?”. Finally, a mod made their way into the thread to ban Tudd under the pretense that several of his posts were underinformed, suggesting he did not read the main article of the thread, a ban that Tudd thinks was “entirely unjust”, considering it an extreme “low point for [him]” as he “knew [he] was in the clear”.

Today, users were incredibly shocked to find that, not only had Tudd been unbanned due to a reduced ban time, but Tudd was in fact, Facepunch’s newest moderator. Backlash was immediately clear, as most could not wrap their heads around the fact that one of the forums most infamous posters was now one of those in the top circle of the forum, many referring to epic maymays such as “Sad!”, “This is the worst timeline”, and “#notmymoderator”, but a few also celebrated the new arrival of Tudd, welcoming the new “overlord” into the forums asking “who’s Tudd?”. A mixed response has continued throughout the day, as some would rather not have the forum “go closer to hell than it already is”, saying that Tudd “needs to chill”, and some celebrating or otherwise content with his appointment considering that “it's good to have mods with different views”. Still many more are convinced that his appointment is just a joke and can’t possibly be real, could it?

Tudd immediately set to work, instituting changes in the forum, especially in regards to politics. With the support of Hezzy, the mod that also reduced his ban, one he considers a friend, he created a new subforum for the Sensationalist Headlines section, Polidicks, a place where everything politics [del]on facepunch comes to die[/del] is discussed. As the head moderator, Tudd immediately instituted several controversial rules, namely the restriction on people posting negative comments toward current president Donald Trump, something he considers entirely fair “Considering the GOP and other right-wing parties also criticize Trump”. Tudd himself is personally overjoyed with the creation of Polidicks, as it allows “the biggest assholes on Facepunch [to] argue it out in these threads” and not pollute the other beautifully innocent sections of Facepunch, hoping that it will also bring a more balanced discussion by “allowing true intellectual diversity with the new source policy.” Skeptics continue to disagree [del]but nobody gives a shit about them[/del].

The future of Facepunch now seems uncertain. Tudd makes it clear he wishes to “confront” and condemn a number of the current moderators for their inherent mod biases “on an equal playing field”, “drain[ing] the swamp” so to speak, assuring others that since he doesn’t have any friends left to promote himself, he can be entirely a balancing force without and risk of “Filling that swamp up again”. In the meantime, however, he may just find himself hitting a glass ceiling as he continues to disrupt the status quo of Facepunch, bringing down the house he once knew and loved. Love him or hate him though, he’s here to stay no matter what happens.

I can't just "get a bigger screen", I'm not made out of free money. And his avatar is five time as tall as gold members' avatars, I'd expect mods to have twice as tall but five times? That's way overboard.

And the screenshot you posted doesn't really work as a counter-argument, the empty space still exists
