Russian jets for Syria awaiting 'political decision' for delivery

Aircraft don't have to be A-10's to be deadly.

If they do get them, they most likely will mount freefall bombs and gunpods, which isn't good.

Does Assad have pilots for these aircraft? A large shipment of aircraft is worthless without people to fly them. Plus when they are delivered they will likely be destroyed on the ground as soon as the Russians are out of the way.
