CBS announced that next season will be the last for "Two and a Half Men" as it debuted a fall schedule Wednesday that emphasis stability. The network also said it would abandon the concept of midseason and premiere its top shows year-round.
Next season will be the 12th for Chuck Lorre's "Two and a Half Men," a huge hit that survived the high-profile exit of Charlie Sheen in 2010. Ashton Kutcher took his place, but in 2014, Angus T. Jones, the "half" man of the title, found religion and announced that he was also leaving the show because he felt like a "paid hypocrite."
Though ratings have slipped, "Men" is one of CBS's biggest success stories. It is a huge hit in syndication, and its total value has been estimated at more than $1 billion.
I'm suprised it went on this long without Charlie Sheen
And yea, on the 14th of May 2014, it was conclusively proven there is a God.
Charlie Sheen made the show funny and fits the role of Charlie Harper very well because of how he is like outside of the show as well, this new "Anger Management" show he's doing just isn't funny at all.

Holy shit, has it been that long already? Feels like it happened last year.

And so saith the Lord thy god, "Winning!"
I'm surprised it went on so long even with Charlie Sheen

"even with Charlie Sheen" is quite the phrase

I'm surprised it survived one season.
It's been fucking terrible since Charlie Sheen left, it's been comprised almost entirely of fart, poop, and sex jokes. Chuck Lorre even said in one of his outro cards that canceling the show was out of his hands, and that CBS was keeping it on. It's been nothing but a cash cow since 2010, nothing more.
seasons 9 and 10 were terrible, but the 11th was pretty good
ohhhhhhh thank god
My mother kept watching the show, complaining each episode how stupid it was. I asked her why she kept watching it, and she only shrugged.
