INTRODUCTION:
I'm actually surprised nobody has made a thread about Kings Of Leon. They're quite popular here in Europe as far as I know. I saw them at Rock Werchter this year (world's biggest music festival FYI) and they were amazing.
THE BAND:
Kings of Leon is an American rock band, that formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 1999, consisting of brothers Anthony "Caleb" Followill (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Ivan "Nathan" Followill (drums, percussion, backing vocals) and Michael "Jared" Followill (bass, backing vocals), with their cousin Cameron "Matthew" Followill (lead guitar, backing vocals). The band's early music was an upbeat blend of southern rock and garage rock influences but the band has gradually expanded their sound to include a variety of genres, including alternative rock.

Kings of Leon achieved initial success in the United Kingdom with nine Top 40 singles and also winning two brit awards in 2008. and all three of the band's albums at the time peaking in the top five of the UK Albums Chart, with Because of the Times reaching number one. After the release of Only by the Night in 2008 they finally achieved chart success in their native United States. The singles "Sex on Fire", "Use Somebody" and "Notion" peaked at number one on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks, while the album itself was their first ever platinum-selling album in the US. So far, they made 4 albums. Personally, I like the last one best:

I quite like them, they have some good songs.
I find that their older stuff is far, far better than their new album.
I'm so tired of them because of their commercial breaks on spotify.
My friend showed me the song "Charmer" and got it got me hooked with it's repetative but catchy bass line. :v:
It's a weird occurrence that any girl who likes this band always like Charmer as their favorite song.
Aha Shake heartbreak is a great album though.
charmer gets on my tits big time
the screeching goes right through my skull
I went to see them on their UK tour, they are VERY good live.
I only like their new album
