Both boys were arrested by Detroit Police. The case was then taken over by DPS. Yesterday Mr. Amadi received an order from the Employee Relations Department of the school district saying he must appear at a hearing on October 5 to review allegations that he put the safety of others in danger and that he acted in an unprofessional manner. "I read this and I was shocked," said Amadi. District officials issued a statement saying this is the policy and when there are allegations of misconduct they must be investigated. District officials say the hearing will allow all parties to give their version of events. They say there has been no decision on any discipline. Titus Amadi says he can't understand this. He says the 14-year-old has already apologized and he says friends of the 16-year-old, who is on probation for a weapons charge, have made threats to him. The 20-year veteran teacher says he just wants to do his job but he doesn't think he will feel safe at Osborn anymore. A disciplinary hearing is NOT a "trial". Thread title is misleading. Also, hearings like this happen pretty much any time accusations get thrown around, it doesn't really mean anything and I seriously doubt the school board will take the word of a couple of screwup kids over a teacher.

I fucking hate when people do shit like this. "Let's beat up a teacher we don't like and then say we did it in self defense!" I don't know what the exact allegations against him were but Jesus, come on. And besides I'm sure the hearing is just SOP.

This guy Titus Amadi reached out to me to help write his memoir. He's got serious issues. I should have trusted my instinct and declined. He was very unreasonable. I now understand why his former employer fired him. After signing an agreement he started demanding that I finish his memoir in 3 months. Writers beware... he will draw you in by playing the victim... I actually felt sorry for the guy. Do not trust him. How the DPS fucked me over. A memoir of Titus Amadi. I guess write him some shit that qualifies as C- college finals work. Surely this book can be career suicide, or see if you can get out of this agreement. If hes just playing the victim role and not seeing why hes a lunatic. Its really not worth writing for.
