Gather around everyone! I have made another fantastic discovery and this time it's both edible AND won't give you the shits.
This might prove Helpful to YOU should one day you want hot food and you don't have a microwave.
So I wanted McCain Pizza Pockets (you're a scrub if you don't know what these are) for dinner.

However at the university there's one microwave in my building and it's a bag of tits that can't evenly heat food worth shit.
So it's summer in Kamloops and that means that it's hot outside. Really hot.

I own a black car and with the roof on it's unbearable to sit in after you've left it parked for the day. Your car will probably be like this too.
Anyways, I wanted to see if I could cook Pizza Pockets in my car. If it worked, cool. I had food and made it using SCIENCE. If not.....well I would have defrosted Pizza Pockets.
Anyways, when you buy a box they are frozen bricks.

For my experiment I unwrapped four and left the other four wrapped. Then I lined them up on the dash.

By this point I was getting looks from people in the parking lot. :v:
Even while I was putting them in place the car was heating up again. Before I closed the door it was 56 degrees. When I walked past a half hour later we were past 67 degrees. Getting toasty.

Being a black car the thing is a heat machine. The ragtop, rollcage...pretty much everything was about 70 degrees. This HAD to work.

Random photo so future scientists can observe the experiment.

Fours later I come back and the car is toastin'. 80 degrees!

So it's been sitting in 70+ for the afternoon. Did the experiment work?

Yep! Cooked right through! The bagged ones were still soft but the unwrapped ones now had a stale crust. Were they good? Yes!
Do I recommend you try this? Well if it's hot enough, go for it.
Mod footnote: When will the cooking subforum come back? This topic is almost not for the GD.
I don't see the point
so did the digimon portal come when you opened up the pizza?
Enjoy your Food poisoning.

Too much haha
You're pretty lucky a dinosaur didn't attack your jeep with all that tempting food in the front window!
And this, people, is why you don't leave kids and pets in the car. A Toronto cop baked cookies on his dash too.
not a very sanitary way to cook food, but...
why do you just generally choose the worst eating methods
Those temperatures aren't hot enough to kill bacteria afaik, and with McCain pizza pockets you want all the bacteria-killing action you can get
This is so fucking unhealthy
Don't worry guys the Digigods are watching over him!

apparently mips somehow managed to get a roommate more autistic than himself and he got buttmad at mips and people on here because they were making fun of him.
