After Senate Republicans failed to repeal Obamacare in July, talks began on fixing the law rather than dismantling it. The dose of cold water from senior GOP officials will put pressure on Republican senators to back a last-ditch bill to gut Obamacare before a Sept. 30 deadline. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell backed that approach publicly on Tuesday. Republicans say that while the bipartisan talks between Sens. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) and Patty Murray (D-Wash.) initially seemed promising, many in the GOP fear providing money for Obamacare but offering little for conservatives — especially after Republican lawmakers have been throttled by President Donald Trump and the GOP base for failing to repeal the health law.
of course they did
It's like watching a bratty kid scream and cry and boss their parent around at a grocery store
What cunts the republicans are.
Republicans prove that the US needs a rework of its election systems so that congress and senate aren't filled with horrid human beings.
But remember, it's the democrats who are being obstructionists!
is being a bad person a prerequisite to being a republican
But remember, it's the democrats who are being obstructionists!
"Yeah, they're obstructing us from violently fucking the poor with our awful Healthcare plans!"

So what we need to do is slap their cards out of their hand, then force them to play 52-card pickup while we beat the dealer with a stick and put a better game on the table.
fucking playing poker with people's lives. the insurance market NEEDED that bill to be stabilized going into the 2018 signup period, now they're gonna spend the next two weeks barking about their repeal bill instead, wasting time
They want it to fall apart.
no they wanted the negotiations to fall apart, meanwhile in another room they're scheming how to destroy the ACA again
no they wanted the negotiations to fall apart, meanwhile in another room they're scheming how to destroy the ACA again
I wonder if their hate boner for obama has raged for so long that they forgot why exactly they hate the former president. "So why are you trying to repeal the ACA?" "Cause Obama" "Why Obama?" "Cause Obama"
So what if the government shut downs while we are trying to recover from these current huge hurricanes the ocean keep frisbeeing to us?
rand paul eants to now put up a vote for a full aca repeal even though the parliamentarian has said you cannot do that with budget reconciliation... its another 3 ring circuis folks.
I hope this hardens the heart of the Republican Senators that killed the last ACA repeal attempt. Republicans are refusing to do the reasonable thing and are not only insisting on having it their way, but doing it with one-party rule by abusing reconciliation. I hope the dumb cunts eliminate funding to Planned Parenthood and forget that will cause the Senate Parlimentarian (a female Democrat) to strike it down, as she should, for making policy changes when reconciliation strictly forbids policy change. I hope they do it and run out of time on their reconciliation meter at the end of this month so they have to, gasp, negotiate with Democrats. If the ACA repeal succeeds and is slammed through the House and rubber-stamped by Trump, America should be downgraded even further than "flawed democracy" because the ACA was a bill passed in the open with bipartisan consultation and public hearings and overturned in a rush by one party abusing the rules to cram through a bill drafted in secret by six bribed fuckstains who long ago lost all trace of morality or empathy on the 72nd or something attempt to get rid of it.
