An interesting perspective on the country.
First part of thirteen. Our trip to North Korea was a visit to a fucking communist themepark except that instead of communism it was mind-blowing mentally retarded religious experience involving some dude's massive ego and millions of people told to celebrate it. The country is a mental asylum, we had all the freedom to move of the "guests" at Guantanamo and have seen enough creepy propaganda crap to last 5 lifetimes. that was awesome but saddening to see the truth behind the memes and stereotypes.
Glorious Korea is Best Korea.
The narrator was a bit of a twat but interesting, all the same
He loses his voice more and more as the videos goes on. :v:
The guy filming and narrating was pretty moronic and irritating at times, though I always find these documentaries really interesting. That being said, the Vice Guide to Travel was waaaaaaay better. http://www.vbs.tv/watch/the-vice-guide-to-travel/vice-guide-to-north-korea-1-of-3#
I liked this guy. I found his voice interesting and just his narration was fun

Like the stupid faces and what not. Why do they go out of their way to piss off their guards and tour guides in a country where if you were to just vanish no one could do anything about. Damn i want to visit northkorea.
I think it was way better then the vice guide in terms of being more engaged. I learned alot of new things from this video then the vice guide (Loved actually seeing the arranged interactions and seeing actual propaganda cartoons). Plus, I feel the guy was pretty funny, in that he made the video to provide funny undermining commentary. Perhaps that Korean soldier barking out funny phrases got my soft spot or something.
@all i have been following monkeetime since they started their videos and that's how they roll, their style is brutally honest and they portray things just the way it is...they won't paint you a rosy picture where there is none, you guys should watch other travel videos they have made and you will understand why they are brutally honest!
Such is life in North Korea.
5:06 of part 11 - hot. Even though she behaves like a robot.
