The federal government has finally realized drug legalization is an inevitability. After marijuana has been dealt with, Ecstasy, LSD, Shrooms and other psychedelics will be next given their safety and minimal health risks associated with them.

They are no where near as popular as marijuana is, so you have a super minority fighting for their legalization, which simply just makes it less of an issue. Also, the misinformation about these substances is rampant, more so than weed. The only real chance they have is if people stick with this libertarian stance on substance control (and not just a special situation with weed), and if more doctors and psychiatrists become vocal about the benefits of MDMA, DMT, LSD, Psilocybin, etc.

LSD is simply not something you do every day. MDMA would be next, they have the high fanbase and a lot of doctors and therapists can also attest to MDMA's affects in treating PTSD and life-crippling depression.

Making MDMA a legitimate product regulated by a health organization would remove that risk.

It's going to snowball through the other states and in time it will be decriminalized nationally. It'll take awhile, but once a movement starts, it's going to be really hard to stop. And with the steps already taken to protect state legalization, we're well on our way to making it happen.

I learned after that that people who become Schizophrenic from shrooms were already bound to it happening eventually but at an older age, the mushrooms triggered his condition. So I'm not too sure about that being soon.
