Are there any bands/singers which come anywhere remotely close to Jeff? I was told that James Morrison and Daniel Merriweather sound similar, they're good in their own right but no where near the likes of Jeff.
Jeff had a unique sound, I guess that's what made him the best. Though some songs on "Sketches for my Sweetheart the Drunk" are a bit on the eerie and plain weird side, Grace was down right amazing. So, have I answered my question and that there is no one who comes close to Jeff voice and lyrics wise?

Every time I listen to that album I'm impressed more and more with how well it was written and how flawlessly it was executed.
