I hate the slowness of Turn Based Strategy, but also dislike what they do with the nostalgia factor. I hope they leave in a "turn based" option.
I am a HUGE Ja2 fan. With the 1.13 patch and the various mods which work with it, it is an amazing game that you just flat out aren't going to be able to counter. So instead of trying to face JA 2 1.13 head on with your sequel, it's ultimately a much more intelligent move to try and shake up the formula as best as you can, while improving what you can, in order to try to gain an edge over its predecessor. I'm not saying it is necessarily a good idea, but it was really their only play. They have to roll the dice and hope that they come out on top.
Would be nice if there was an option to toggle realtime. I'm sure kids these days prefer realtime, but JA seems to work a lot better if it remained as turn-based.
I've always wanted a game where it ends with the main character being out of bullets and the game just cuts to a blank with the sequel being "Main character just: Reloaded" [editline]11th November 2010[/editline] I have to say, the game looks really nice though.
