This thread is a description of my friend and I's experience with ambien. The story starts out with a boring night so we go to a park to smoke a bit of bud and puff on a cigar, then during the cigar my friend brings up the fact that his dad has an ambien prescription and that he has already gotten two out of the bottle. We decide since nothing was going on that we would go get some rum from my house and then just kick it at his parent's for the night. Keep in mind this is during my friend's winter break coming back from college so his parents are pretty laidback. We get too his house and each take 10 mg of ambien, so then we decide to make cuba libres which consist of about 2 shots worth, some coke, and a bit of lime (pretty tasty). We pound down 4 of these each and watch some tv. I start to feel a nice buzz from the cuba libres and something new also which was the ambien of course. About a half hour after we finish our drinks we both come to the conclusion we should take more so we split 10 mg. My friend gets a text about some beer pong that is about 3 miles away, but of course us being on ambien we decide fuck it let's go on a fucking adventure. So we grab longboards and start our trek down the street and up a good size hill for about a mile. Let me tell you trying to ride a longboard while drunk and on ambien is a pretty tricky task and I must say it took some time. So then we get to this hill that we have to climb over which is extremely muddy, I mean to the point where your shoe goes down a good six inches into the mud. So we traverse this big muddy hill then finally get picked up in the neighborhood below and go to our friend's house. At this point it is getting very difficult to focus and I have a great surge of euphoria going through me, so I decide to play bp which ends up with me making maybe 3 cups since I could barely see the rims... So after about an hour or two we get a ride back to my friend's house to sleep and I guess slam into the wall a few times. Wake up in the morning covered in mud and then we go downstairs and my friend's mom is just like "Did you guys go out last night I heard a big bang and then *friend* was cussing in the hall" she also tells us that she found two longboards outside just covered in mud. It was a lot of fun, but I don't think I would do ambien again because of the major haze it puts you in for the next day.
TL;DR Friend and I are bored so we drink and take ambien which turns into an epic and very muddy journey to play beer pong and wake up in the morning our clothes covered in mud and little recollection of the night before
Heh, I've posted my experiences on Ambien here too. Ambien is in a class of its own, it's not really a deliriant, or a dissociative, it's kinda like stim psychosis hallucinations without the anxiety.
I wouldn't recommend mixing too much Ambien and Alcohol as it's a dangerous combo.
yeah you should never really mix sleep aids with alcohol
Ya I know that is why we didn't have that many drinks or a high dose of ambien, trust me I know my limits with substance, it really is a great sense of euphoria as you "fight" the effects of the ambien
How I still remember those nights with Ambien.. calling every single person on my cellphone through the entire night. A friend had to sleep during the day because I called him so many times he couldn't sleep, and when people picked up the phone I didn't even say anything, I was quiet. After a few calls you would start hearing "STOP CALLING ME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING NIGHT I NEED TO SLEEP".
I wondered why they were so angry and called again.. and again..
I think I ate approximately 200 pills on 3 days.

I'm highly doubtful you had 66 pills a day, 5 10mg pills made me feel nauseous and there's no way you could stay awake with that many in you.
I'm curious to know what type of drug Ambien is classed as. Dissociative, Deliriant etc.
It's pretty fun though and pretty safe if you aren't stupid with them. I may order some more one day as they worked incredibly well at getting me to sleep and would be welcome at the tail end of an amphetamine bindge.

You can be all doubtful you want, Ambien or the active ingredient Zolpidem is classed as an Imidazopyridine.

I wasn't asking what type of drug it was in a scientific sense. If you actually read the context of my question you'd realise I'm asking about what users feel the tone of the hallucinations emulate. I feel that the hallucinations are in between dissociation and delerium.
Okay, I'm not doubtful. I do not believe you could consume 2 grams of Zolpidem in 3 days. It's ludicrous. I can't even imagine where you'd get that many pills in one go. I also cannot see any reason you would do that, 30 Ambien pills would almost certainly kill you as it's a depressant.

Well regardless, the toxicity of Zolpidem have been researched as following: male rats, orally, the LD50 = 695 mg/kg. If you then take my approximate weight of 80 and multiply it by 695 you have 55600 mg as a lethal intoxication, and since we are not rats the number is not entirely accurate. But even so, a lethal intoxication for me would require a multiplying product of a factor of 50. These odds are as quoted by your own word: ludicrous.

Me too. In fairness he does appear to be right about Zolpidem overdose but I only had that opinion because a friend of mine who is a nurse had 300mg ready to kill herself with and she said she knew it would kill her. I was not going to argue with a nurse.

I would tell you about my Ambien experience, but I don't remember it. I took 25mg and had amnesia. Maybe Pepin will come on and tell you all about it.
I've had 50mg in a night and had pretty bad Amnesia but I still remembered remnants. I had quite a lot of tolerance by that point. The first night on Ambien I had 20mg and really enjoyed it. It's one of my favourite drugs to use recreationally as I can't think of a negative point.

I have taken [url=http://www.ambienzolpidem.com/]Ambien Zolpidem[/url] for 4 months now due to not being able to sleep with the depression medicines I'm on. Ambien works wonders. I had a few odd moments where my child found me sleep walking, just in the fridge, hungry I guess. I saw things the first time I took a whole 10 mg. I'm glad others wrote reviews because my husband thought I was mental. Other then that it's been a blessing. I wake up at 6:30 every morning refreshed and brand new. I would tell anyone if you take it laying down. Don't go walk around it's meant for bedtime for a reason. It's worth a try for anyone not being able to sleep. Oh also I sleep from 9 to 6 every night. I may wake up once and I take nothing else for sleep.
