Hey guys, I've had a M5 series PDP kit for a while now, but I still haven't managed to get the two rack toms facing correctly. I try to get the two toms to be parellel, but the best I can do still has them facing a bit away from each other. Anyone got any tips on setting rack toms up correctly?
If your using standard bass mounting hardware, it may be difficult to make them parallel without jacking up the height. I suggest you get a full drum rack for your toms, individual cymbal stand tom mounts, or a dual tom stand.
The mounts that are situated on a cymbal stand are really nice.
You could buy something. If you're looking for something fast you may just need to fiddle with them for a while until you find a setup you can feel comfortable with. And what do you mean by parallel? Parallel to the ground?
^he means parallel to eachother
hmm, drums are round, still not sure exactly what he means, I don't think I've ever had a setup where my toms were parallel to each other in any case, it may very well not be possible with the current equipment you have Zoidbear
By parallel, he means he wants the rack toms to look like this and not like this
That woman is creepy.
