The fight happened in the cafeteria around midday. School officials said no weapons were involved. The Student Resource Officer made the arrests. Two girls were arrested for the fight on unknown charges and four others were arrested for disorderly conduct. All six were taken into juvenile custody. Copyright 2012 WAFF. Lee of the confederate army, Alabama huh? There has always been incredibly high racial tension in the area and in the school its self. And beyond that, It's like "Oh a bunch of blacks are fighting, break out the hand cuffs." This would probably be the only time Al Sharpton could start complaining about racism without it being just Al Sharpton grabbing at straws for attention. I can understand the two girls being disciplined by staff for fighting, but an actual arrest? that is goddamned insane. And "disorderly conduct" sounds like a bunch of bullshit too.
Holy shit KIDS FIGHTING IN HIGH SCHOOL? This is unfathomable
what is the world coming to when a facepuncher lives within 20 miles of me (my mom went to lee high school)
Death penalty
I approve of this. this is no different if it happened at a bar or at the bus stop.
Wow at my old school you get get this thing called in school suspension for a week then everyone acts like it never happened
I approve of this. this is no different if it happened at a bar or at the bus stop.
I think it should be based on the severity of the brawl and what motivated it. Typical high-school knuckle-dusters should not be wasting police time and taxpayer money. Such things should be reserved for if it was likely to, or did, cause injury requiring medical attention, or at least one party was motivated by something other than typical friction. Something like hatred, or racism, or an intent to bully. Something like that.
Slow news day?
Slow news day?
I think it's well worthy of news, given that the only time we ever had the police involved with school fights was the presence of weapons or gross bodily harm to the valiant combatants.
Read it as flight :v:

2 weeks ago we had a fight at school every single day in a row. Monday started with a huge ~8 guy brawl, someone ended up getting stabbed or something, I don't remember. The rest were all girl fights.
