DEAD SEA, Jordan — In an effort to revive the moribund peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians, Secretary of State John Kerry announced a plan on Sunday to invest as much as $4 billion to develop the economy of the West Bank. Mr. Kerry said that the investments under the plan would be made in the areas of tourism, light manufacturing, agriculture, construction, energy and technology. The idea would be to give the Palestinians an incentive to negotiate and to ensure that a Palestinian state in the West Bank would be viable.
http://www.nytimes.com/2013/05/27/world/middleeast/peres-says-israel-must-overcome-skepticism-about-peace.html?_r=1& What the West Bank needs is to build infrastructure that is dependent on the Palestinians. Building a small manufacturing factory is nice for employment but doesn't really give them more independence when the electricity, plumbing and roads are built/given through Israel.
How about we mind our own damn business, and actually do something useful at home? Infrastructure? Desperately needs to be repaired and innovated. Education? It's already shit itself and in fetus form. Completely rebuild it from the ground up. LE's across the country are unable to purchase ammo for their departments? Divert the factories used to make ammo for US Soldiers to make ammo for our local law enforcement. Seriously.... Fuck the entire Middle East in general. It's a waste of time and money.
You guys seriously just need to throw out the current Republican members of government and ban them from ever coming back into power. Probably some of the dumber democrats too.
has john kerry done anything right? oh wait, we know the answer to that one. no.

Oh also introduce term limits for Senators, Congressmen, and Representatives because that would get rid of people who are growing senile.

Wage equality? Corporate regulation? How would that even work when a middle ground between Democratic and Republican parties is right-wing at best?
With all of this shit going on in the US, makes me feel we the US citizens don't have as much control as we would have expected.
JK....?

That is why you're still in the Middle East and why that war won't end any time soon.
