did they use parts of a real tank, specifically the upper half of it, or something [editline]13th June 2011[/editline] hahahahah there's an office chair in the middle
I love how it's mounted on the back of a truck.
inb4 "allah whu akbar joke". But in all seriousness, that's some ingenuity!
bmp3 turret on a truck??
Jesus it's held up there on wooden scaffolding. Looks like it could collapse after every shot

Props to them if they blow up another tank with this without it falling apart.
Jesus it's held up there on wooden scaffolding. Looks like it could collapse after every shot
Metal, actually. Still doesn't look too sturdy though.
Won't offer too much protection, though.
Reminds me of when they mounted an aircraft rocket launcher on the back of a truck. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=01d_1302089430

The way those guys constantly say Allahu Akbar, I hope it's just for the camera. I don't care if they say it but if they're constantly running around saying it then it'd be a little awkward after a while.

Praising Allah so it wont blow up. Same way in which some people say "please god let X happen" in the west. Or the way some of us carry lucky charms. I mean, if you had just rigged a tank turret to a jeep, i would be hoping for some kind of luck in it not exploding in my face.
Wow that is pretty awesome.
Won't offer too much protection, though.
They'll probably make adjustments to it.
Damn it, this needs to be in a Command and Conquer game.
Damn it, this needs to be in a Command and Conquer game.
Generals wasn't too far away from this :v:
meanwhile, in garry's mod...
GLA from C & C generals was the first thing that came to mind.
I love the Libyan rebels. So inventive.
I love the Libyan rebels. So inventive.
In pretty much any civil wars the rebel make cool weapons.
Libya, where everything is welded to the back of a truck.

What exactly does Allahu Ackbar / Allah Whu Ackbar (I don't know which it is) mean?
"God is [the] Greatest," or "God is Great"
bmp3 turret on a truck??
BMP-1 turret.
Reminds me of Pigeons how incessantly they yell "Allah Akbar," made me chuckle. Good to see the rebels got some firepower on their hands now.
Libya, where everything is welded to the back of a truck.
As it turns out, all conflicts in Africa have essentially been mounted on the back of a Toyota pickup truck.
What exactly does Allahu Ackbar / Allah Whu Ackbar (I don't know which it is) mean?
Allahu.
I thought "Allah Ackbar" and "Allahu Ackbar" meant different things.
