I currently work in a decent job earning around $35,000 a year, but i hate it.
I want a new job or profession or to start something of my own! how do i get to the point where this is possible?
Maybe a small business or something? Looking for idea's, best ways online etc?
well we can't decide for you what kind of job you like. To do something on your own is always possible, just a matter of money.

If you don't know what you want to do, don't start picking a city already. Different cities have different job market situations for different industries.
Don't let money be the reason for your career, let it be your passion instead, and you'll find much more joy in your life.
Maybe money is his only joy in life?
Not making a stab, that's just what some folk are like.
On a more serious note, make sure you know what you want to do before you dive into it.
start a small buisness
selling weed
Really think about what makes you happy, it can be absolutely anything. What hobbies do you have? What do you do in your spare time? For example if you enjoy learning and teaching others what you know then become a teacher.
It's really that easy man, think less and just take a chance and do something that makes you feel good about yourself.

What are your qualifications and past work experience?

You'd be surprised to learn that Gaming is actually one of the cheaper hobbies actually.
Eg, proper photography is more expensive by far.
Hey guys how do I make some money huh

Make some potato salad.
Do some work off to the side of your main job like some yard work or offer to do some simple repairs/services around people's homes. Easy way to make some extra cash if you keep at it

Seriously though, photography is expensive as fuck. I'm buying my first DSLR (secondhand) for only €300,but there are camera's and lenses which are 10k. If you want to buy a top-of-the-line DSLR + top-of-the-line lenses,it'd cost as much as your year salary, roughly.

Yes but you have different passions in different moments in life.
And it's quite difficult to change job industries based on that; but it's not impossible, and it's worth it because you'll enjoy the work you do.
OP, you should move to Colorado/Washington, etc. Buy a parcell of land, plant canabis and sell it legally for a ton of money. It's a new industry and competition is yet to catch up. If you become rich as fuck from doing it give me a call.
It really depends on what you are good at and what you are willing to learn. I'd recommend you have a glance at financial markets and invest. If you're not good at it, first follow up the mrkt for a year or two and then invest.
Other than opening up a firm, I think the only way to make money is by working for another firm...

You should see how much a new set of carp fishing rods and bite alarms cost.

Think of something, write a detailed business plan, go to the bank for a start-up loan
Like working out? start a gym or train to be a self-employed PT
Like driving? train to be a driving instructor and start your own company
etc
Depending on what and where you want to start, a small business will either fail or take years to regain your initial investment. You plan for years before opening it.
Sell your body.

Got a big dick? Be a porn actor. Maybe someday, alot of us FPers might see you on a Brazzer's Ad.
No one is going to share their money making strategies with you. You need to do the research and thinking yourself.
I always imagined that buying cheap computer parts, putting it all together and selling it with a profit, would be easy.

?
Gaming is my absolute favorite hobby because it doesn't bankrupt me. Two other things I really like are fish tanks and cars, and both of those are black holes.
I bought gmod at about 15$ I think, and I've got 1185 hours on it, that's just over a cent an hour I believe. And I'm far from done playing it.

Depending on what it is, your job could turn something you enjoy into a chore.
The best way to make money is when you get out what you put in, rather than being in a workplace where the guy who works his arse off gets paid the same as the guy doing the minimum he can get away with. So yeah, it'd have to be a business of some kind and starting and running one isn't for everybody.

I wouldn't say so. Yeah, you got the cost of the games themselves, electricity, internet and your pc/console, but it's not an ongoing investment.
Paintball on the other hand will rinse the money out your wallet like the incy-wincy spider.

Gaming is not even close to an expensive hobby.
