Video of pizza delivery man humiliated by car dealership workers causes anger
A GROUP of car dealership workers who humiliated a pizza delivery man in an argument over $7 have been forced to apologise after the footage they jokingly posted of the incident went viral on social media.
The video, which was posted on YouTube, begins with the delivery man being made to return $7 in cash — which he had thought was a tip — after he was called back to the Massachusetts dealership.
The workers, clearly thinking their berating of the delivery man was hilarious, posted the security camera footage on YouTube
Cunts.

Cunts
hahaha this makes me a little happy fuck those guys
Before anyone asks, I had nothing to do with this.
But I am totally not surprised. Car dealerships are run and staffed by assholes.
Wow, nice going jack-asses. The fuck is it with car dealership employees?
They have the shittiest stereotype and I swear every time I meet one or they make the news they just reinforce it.

Dude, it's so true. Especially management. Working in the industry did nothing but confirm every stereotype I had about it.
I here that sales men who don't sell/sell the least cars get canned.

Well yeah, if you cant do the job well someone else will
The pizza guy was cool about it. These guys were cunts. This wasn't really humiliation, just a waste of time and if you're a pizza delivery guy you fucking hate getting your time wasted. I said this in the video thread, but if they called my manager over something like this, they'd get fucking laughed at and we'd never deliver to them again. Just cutting out a few jack offs like these guys ain't gonna hurt anyone.
Kindof wanna prank call the shit out of them now.

I have the urge to test drive a car with a fake ID, leave it in a pond, and tell them to look up the location on OnStar if they want their car back.
"Yeah, guys, I'm just not feeling it. Not buoyant enough."
"Wait, did you say bou-"

That big website with those images already did a lot of that, their fax is unplugged now and their review pages mangled.

I'd say he was afraid he would lose his job, he probably clocked them for the type of cunts that ring and complain and tried his best to be calm about it. He was right about the people.

More businesses need to have this attitude.
The whole 'customer is king' culture of customer service is the biggest bullshit I've ever heard. I think we're heading for a time where it's gonna be necessary for respect on both sides of the counters, and if a customer comes up who is abusive, entitled or just wants to take their shitty day out on the person serving them, they can get lost until they figure out how to not be a dick.
Customer service is probably one of the most stressful and draining jobs you can get, and I have no doubt that getting rid of this smile-while-you're-getting-shat-on culture and actually holding customers accountable for their behaviour would make a huge difference in the mental health of retail workers
I work at a luxury resort, and the people there can be ten times worse than these idiots on the best of days. But like the user above me said, the culture is to smile while being shat on. We actually have a saying "maintain your smile, even though the customer may not." Which can be pretty damn hard sometimes, especially with some of the clientele who have stayed at the resort.
And I see this thread while waiting in a car-dealership.
I like how little miss hardass only gets the guts up to be cocky once the guy is leaving.
It is so pathetic that these people get off on being cruel to people who work in jobs like pizza delivery or fast food or what have you.
This is one of the many glaring examples, just how bad those who work in fast food.
But I'm glad the Streisand effect is going on for these pathetic excuses of "people". Their "joke" burns them in the ass, and people in the area are going to be made aware of just how horrible these people treated the delivery guy.
The best I can hope for, is that no one shops there anymore, or atleast teach them a lesson in some way.

Already going on, reddit and 4chan are spamming the guy's personal email and home phone with death threats.
These yelp reviews are great, have a few snippets:
Went to F&R Auto Sales and was immediately assaulted physically. After I tended to my wounds I tried to give them cash for the car I wanted. The ugly guy assumed it was his tip and took all my money! Then then a woman literally shoved her foot in me. Then they told me they couldn't sell me a car on the basis of my race, color, national origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation, and veteran status.

I am very happy with my experience here. I came to buy a used Tesla and the salesman said they have it. I wrote check for $85,000 on the spot. Sales man informed me this is special version of Tesla that takes gasoline. So I have great electric car that runs on gasoline.

Went to this dealership. I was hot warm ready to be eaten until these people opened the box. I saw this fat black guy sweating and slobbering. Sweat started to drip on me and he reached down with his Cheetos covered fingers and grabbed half of me in one swoop.

Came here from Oregon just to buy a car because they claimed to be the best. Never again.
First, two fat guys told me they wanted me fired and then proceeded to try and take my pants off for some strange reason. Then some chick kept asking to put her foot in my ass for some twisted sexual fantasy.
In my honest opinion, the whole excessive smiling thing needs to go. When I started out I worked in a country club and spa resort and ran the breakfast/tavern. I was extremely courteous with my clients and the tips/reviews were showing I was doing my job well, but I got told to "smile" all the time by both colleagues and management. If not that then "smile more". This seriously grinds my gears - grinning constantly like an idiot both makes you feel stupid and enforces in the client the insincerity of your facial expressions. Now I'm a barman at a boutique lobby bar - Chet Baker and vintage cocktails and the works - and my god is the work so much more rewarding. I get to talk to my clientele like they're human beings, not statistics on a morning spreadsheet, and they in turn address me and speak to me with respect that is sincerely mutual. I smile when it's appropriate, and I don't force it.
I'm not saying stop smiling, just that moderation is key even with something as simple as this.

My last job I didn't last long because I had to work seven and a half hours with no break (because for some reason they made me take it as soon as I came in), standing on concrete with no rubber mat. After four and a half hours of that standing in front of a hot grill, the most I can muster when a customer comes in is a clear acknowledgement of your existence and the fact that you wanna order something. I was never rude to anyone. Two weeks in they threatened to fire me unless I "changed my attitude" and I just left. You can't ask someone to stand in one spot for seven and a half hours with no break and smile the whole time.

I don't hold with the whole calling people Sir or Ma'am and speaking all formally. I work in a public/community library which is technically a customer service role, and I keep it super casual; 'Hey man, how's it going?' etc. I've heard of people in customer service roles getting called out by customers for the same thing, so I dunno if it's just the unusual context that means our customers are fine with it.

death threats are always too far
I mean the guy should face official punishment for his actions but anybody who has ever experienced even one death threat (let alone a collection of them) knows how psychologically damaging they can be. Like there's knocking the guy down a peg then there's ruining his life and sense of personal safety beyond repair

Honestly, it depends a lot on just how familiar you are with your clients. Aside from tourists and people passing through, I get a lot of regulars, people on business trips and such - they all know me by name and so do I - obviously I loosen up a bit around them. You just have to feel your customers. The more familiar they get with you, the more you can reciprocate to a certain extent. Have to maintain professionalism still.
