There isn't a real reason to change the show. If the children don't know about things of a sexual nature then euphemisms will go over their heads. If they're old enough to know about what is being hinted at then that means that they've already gone too far for this measure to "protect" them. Protecting children from something that they wouldn't notice in the first place isn't helpful at all.
