The Bank of America has announced it will join other financial institutions in declining to process payments to WikiLeaks.
The giant American bank joins other companies like MasterCard and PayPal, which have decided not to process transactions intended for WikiLeaks.
In response, WikiLeaks issued a message on Twitter, urging its supporters who hold accounts at the bank to take their business elsewhere.
WikiLeaks has said it will release a fresh "megaleak" early next year that will point to "unethical practices" at a major US bank.
WikiLeaks chief Julian Assange said the bank leak would "give a true and representative insight into how banks behave at the executive level in a way that will stimulate investigations and reforms, I presume".
The controversial Australian said that he was ready to unleash tens of thousands of documents that could "take down a bank or two".
The main target is thought to be Bank of America, based on comments last year from Mr Assange.
Mr Assange spent his first day on bail on an English country estate on Saturday.
The 39-year-old Australian waits to fight against extradition to Sweden to answer sex crimes allegations, which he denies, but he says the bigger fear is extradition to the US to face spy charges.

Why should Assange actually be extradicted to the US? He never has been doing any crimes in the US, or atleast not on their ground, so they should just shut up and eat the shit they put into their own food.

Why?
He specifically didn't do anything wrong, and also it's a GROUP of people who operate Wikileaks.
Assange is only the founder, and lately he's only been their Media person.
he isn't american
The head of the organization is always trialled first. The point is to stop the unlawful leak of government documents no matter what government it is.

Doesn't matter countries can still ask another to extradited a civilian in their country.

Why don't you elaborate on why he should get extradited?
The point is to stop the unlawful leak of government documents no matter what government it is.
Maybe those in the government HANDLING the sensitive information should do their job better, since Wikileaks SOMEHOW managed to get their hands on copies of them.
Are you with me, or should I explain it with flowcharts or hand puppets?
He deliberate intended on releasing highly classified documents with the intent on injure the USA, USA citizens, Iraqi citizens, Afghani citizens, and more which I can not think of. Even if he released the following document and did not take part in stealing the document it violates United States law.

Assange isn't doing anything illegal, he isn't the one leaking the documents, he's just spreading them to the public.

He isn't bound to USA law because he is outside the USA.

The United States does do it job handling sensitive information. The only way this got out was from on the inside. The government is only sure as it people it hires and the security measure put in place. This doesn't make you argument and more valid. You don't see people every day getting private information (disregarding wikileaks; leaks).

There are over 800 thousand people with level 3 and up security clearance, people of everyday get information from their family members with that clearance. Leaks happen all the time.

Regardless, you're making it sound like Assange is sitting in his desk cackling and shouting "YAHAHAHAH, TIME TO KILL MORE CIVILIANS. WHAT SHALL I RELEASE FIRST, THE NAMES OF ALL GAY MEN IN UGANDA OR THE ADDRESSES OF ALL UNDERCOVER CIA AGENTS IN DETRIOT?!"
Go bashing me sooner or later then band wagon will end.
Some of the documents that were release contain names of citizens in countrys the USA government is involved in. Anyone can access these documents.
1) Did you really think no one knew their name before those documents were released?
2) Do you think the people that are in the document have no idea they're in there?
3) Has any harm come to any of the listed names in the document?
4) Does anything you're saying make any sense at all?
The answer to all of these is no.
Aide is just the new, even MORE dumbed down Glaber.
Plz ignore.
