Oh god that was painful to watch. Surely if you were planning to stream something that might have a serial key in it you would have a delay just in case. Also the fact it sits on his screen at various points for minutes at a time, did he not notice. (Oh and do they really need to say "Yo" that often)
What an idiot.
The first 30 minutes is just him decrypting the Steam files and installing the game. Video title: "GTA 5 PC GAMEPLAY - Free Roam Gameplay! Grand Theft Auto 5 PC Gameplay! (GTA V PC)"
How did a viewer get his key so quickly? When does it even pop up? I only saw it at the check screen. Nevermind I see it now. Man that guys an idiot.

Video's private.
rip in pizza
Now he's begging for R* to send another key for him. jesus christ
Did he really need to stream him ACTIVATING the game?
Did he really need to stream him ACTIVATING the game?
It's the digital version of unboxing videos, except real-time now
don't stream the installation of a game, what a dummy.
oh its MrBossFTW so he deserves this for being one of the gta youtuber cancer
oh its MrBossFTW so he deserves this for being one of the gta youtuber cancer
I'm still convinced all GTA youtubers are the same person. They all have the same voice, personality, video length, meandering, thumbnails, dumb name.
oh its MrBossFTW so he deserves this for being one of the gta youtuber cancer
Nobody "deserves" this, but you have to be fucking stupid to let it happen to you. Particularly as someone who does a lot of streaming. There is no excuse for not knowing better.
Ahaha, I know this guy. Absolute moron.
This is why you have some sort of overlay that only shows your face + whatever on your stream, so shit like this doesn't happen.

I cant even feel bad for him. How the fuck did he not think this through.
Why exactly did he even need to enter in a CD key when he already purchased and downloaded the game off steam?
Why exactly did he even need to enter in a CD key when he already purchased and downloaded the game off steam?
3rd party drm
Did he really need to stream him ACTIVATING the game?
Attention whores, Dude. [editline]13th April 2015[/editline]
Why exactly did he even need to enter in a CD key when he already purchased and downloaded the game off steam?
When you launch the game, it pops up a window with the CD key so you can copy it to your keyboard to activate it in the Rockstar Social Club.
Why exactly did he even need to enter in a CD key when he already purchased and downloaded the game off steam?
At least he can still crack it because it's already downloaded. Still, deserved it.
I thought it's possible to claim back the ownership of a steam product key if you show proof of purchase? I could be wrong though [editline]14th April 2015[/editline] Nevermind, I was thinking about ownership of an account.
Has this guy not used Steam before? Steam will always display your key the first time unless it's a Valve game.
Guess he learned the hard way not to stream when theres personal information being tossed around
I love how his friends reactions were all pretty reasonable and realistic. "Dude are you stupid?" Not to mention the really quick subject change near the end. Dummy should've waited before starting his stream.
He IS stupid, but that must really suck to be him. Getting the key stolen when you're about to activate it, it's horrible.
"WHAT'S UP YOUTUBE? IN TOOOOOOODAAAAAAAAAYS VIDEOOOOOOO..."
What annoys me most about a fairly large amount of YouTubers is that they tend to begin every sentence with "So, ..." I was watching a guy named Towelliee on Twitch when the game released (he's probably well known, it was my first time on Twitch) and the same almost happened to him. Not sure how it ended, because I left before he got to the activation screen.
It's the digital version of unboxing videos, except real-time now
When you digitally unbox, you have a closer connection to the viewers. Kind of like sharing. Ho ho! I'm impressed someone was able to steal it. Even at 720 and full screen I couldn't make it out
