Yeah, this actually happened to me a while ago but I'm kind of bored right now and don't really have anything else important to do and I'm feeling a story telling mood so I'm gonna tell this story.
Okay so like this is the last week of school. I'm all ready for summer. So I get up in an awesome mood and I go to school and I go to P.E. I change, nothing really interesting happens. Pretty much the whole period of P.E. we hung out since it's the last week of school and the P.E. teachers don't care about anything anymore during the last week. So instead of running he just told us to hang out, so we did, and I noticed that this one kid in my class that I sometimes talk to wasn't there, I thought meh he's probably late. He's always like 10 minutes late to class for some reason. Anyway he shows up like 10 minutes before the period ended saying how he fell off his bike and scabbed his elbow. I don't really take much notice to it. So the teacher calls us into the locker room to change. We were like the last two going in and I kinda lightly hit him with the back of my hand and say "hey". He didn't respond so I was like "hey" again. He pulls back and punches me in the face. I'm thinking why would he do that I thought we were cool. I didn't actually say that, I was too shocked to say anything really. He said something about me attacking his arm and just trudges off without anything else while I'm clutching my face in hopes he didn't knock any teeth out. He didn't, I think about running up to him and beating the crap out of him. But alas, I'm an FPer so I didn't punch him for "morals". After I cleaned myself up, I noticed like everybody was sympathizing with me and it spread through the school pretty fast. The kid got suspended for finals week (if I fought back I would have been too, thank goodness I didn't) and when he came back he didn't even apologize to me or anything. We never spoke after that. I guess the reason why I wasn't labeled as a wimp for not retaliating was because everybody thought he was weird and when I think about it sometimes I kind of thought he was a weird guy altogether. Not normal. So I learned a valuable lesson to pick my acquaintances more carefully and really analyze the people I'm with more.
And this year he's in my Lit class and I sometimes think about randomly punching him outside of class. But I never do.
Anyways, FP, do you think I handled the situation well, or do you think I should have retaliated despite being suspended during finals?

Do the people who spontaniously decide to hate me just not know how to deliver a facepunch? I've been punched 4 times in the face for various random almost nonsensical reasons and never actually felt anything from it. A small sting for a second but not this terrible pain everyone talks about...
