I always imagined that the discharge that happens in a lightning strike would be enough to blow a person up, old movie style. But then I tought about it again and it didn't make much sense besides getting burnt to a crisp.

Seriously shows you how unpredictable life is. Someone from her family should go buy a lottery ticket now. Isn't it supposed to be that if someone actually gets hit by lightning in your family, your odds of winning the lottery skyrocket as the next most unlikely thing already happened?
