Award-winning sitcom from Graham Linehan. Banished from the ivory towers of Reynholm Industries, the IT crowd lurk below ground, avoiding work and social contact in equal measure.

The series that presented us the internet, geek jokes, and a way to break the internet.
Coming back for a 3rd season.

My only complain is the laughing. It's either a really annoying laugh track or a retarded live audience.
Coming back for a 3rd season? That's been and gone my friend.
The IT Crowd is great. It's less cringeworthy than the Big Bang Theory.
First two were great.
Series 3 wasn't as good but still pretty funny.
I love this show, it's great.

I disagree, series 3 was the best in my opinion. They managed to take it out of the office whilst still being funny. e.g. robbery.
they need to make a series 4
i love this show
Some guys in school insist I remind them of Sheldon. I have no idea who Sheldon is however - I've never watched the show. I searched for a picture of him though and am glad that I only remind them of him in character, not in aesthetics.

sheldon is from the big bang theory not the IT crowd.
OH FUCK
That's embarrassing.

I get the two mixed up quite easily it seems.
A man is here from the IRS something about irregularities in the pension fund
SUICIDE
And that is why the light blinks.
Brilliant Show, the one with Gay the Musical is the best one though.

You have no idea what the IRA is do you?
I wish The IT Crowd would do a fourth series.

I like the one where they try and be normal and they talk football with people
Hello, Tech support, have you tried turning it off and on again?
"This is my Grandfathers service revolver, I vowed to kill myself with this if things ever got out of hand, but as you know, I jumped out of the window."
Not exact, but awesome show. The majority of things Moss and Douglas are in are awesome. Like Darkplace.

IT Crowd < Big Bang theory. I don't find the latter funny in the slightest. Perhaps I just don't like american comedies.
One time I watched all 3 series at once. It was pretty good. Chris Morris and Noel Fielding were not in it enough :( Never really thought anything to do with Jen was funny.

Isn't IT crowd British though? Unless you got that < confused for a >

:eng101:, and I do agree with you

It's done in front of a Live audience.
Do you mean a 4th series? Series 3 aired in 2009.

It's our answering machine message at work :v:
For a geek like me, all the little injokes are hilarious.
Oh yeah I almost forgot about the laughing. God I hate that

It means you are an unlikable, socially awkward, asexual, train loving nerd.

The plague of comedies and sitcoms everywhere.
The IT crowd is great, but don't read a plot synopsis or look at clips. I didn't, and the first time I watched each episode I was literally rolling around on the floor in hysterics. Each plot twist is so subtle that you don't see it coming and...God, it's brilliant.
This show is ok sometimes but it tries too hard to be funny when there isn't enough material.
I like the inside humour it has, it was well worth me buying the 3 season box set I can tell you that.
I love the show and once went to a recording. They record The Weakest Link next door, weirdly. Graham Linehan was there and was a lot funnier than the warm up man. What really struck me is how they manage to make tiny bits of scenery look like a whole restaurant or sitting room, and how good the actors are at switching into character after having to wait around. The audience were also shown the pre-filmed inserts so we could tell what the conclusion of the story was. A long evening, but very interesting.
