I was waiting for this to be release on pc looks like it will come in to fruition.
This game was underrated. It was fun, just too short. Coolest fucking world I've seen in a long time, though.
Praise Ozzy, he heard our prayers.
Nice, it's actually a really fun, cool game, lack of replayability lets it down though...
FUCKING
YES
I don't even remember this game all that well. I do remember the lawsuit tho.
I heard this game's technically a Pikmin/Overlord style RTSRPG where you as the commander are in the field rather than on the safe end of a space telescope. If so, then I should probably enjoy this game since I quite enjoyed playing the Overlord games. That said I dunno if there's any "base-building" in this game a'la the oldschool RTSs like the -craft franchises (Warcraft and Starcraft) and Command & Conquer, which would be a wee bit of a letdown since I kinda like base-building.
Also, if it is coming to PC, I hope it's a good port.
This game was fucking awesome, although I didn't really like the battles I just randomly won most of the time.
This was actually a really fun game. It had some hang ups and issues, but the core was really good. I remember starting it up and playing for about an hour or so right after it was released, but 360 was going out, so it was a complete mess and virtually unplayable. I eventually got a new 360 but didn't play it again for a couple of years, then once I started, I didn't stop.
I'd love to see it get a sequel.

There are certain missions throughout the game called Stage Battles that incorporate RTS elements though with very, very limited base-building. It's mostly just resource gathering stuff as I recall and the ability to spawn new units or upgrade your stage (base). You can also direct and interact with your units in various ways throughout the battle.

It was super-cool until the first stage-battle. I hoped it was only for that one boss but fuck, every battle was like that afterwards. Last boss was awesome though.

The game was a bunch of fun, I didn't even mind the RTS elements.
The writing was really well done, especially with Ozzy and Jack Black.
The world was HUGE AS FUCK, but again, once you beat the game, there isn't realy much to do besides [sp]get some extra small infinite cutscenes with different characters(that you can end with a button press, mostly like Eddie hugging Ophelia for example)[/sp]
I loved Lemmy in this.

Fact: He only had two pair of boots, and when the right boot of one broke he found that the left of the second pair was more comfortable. Hence, he wears two left boots all the time.
I had this for Xbox 360, Not too bad of a game.
Really hope they have managed to get their engine to support more than 30fps be less of an issue if this works best with a controller but I have found it a bit of a put off in their most recent offerings.
holy fucking yes
please let it be true
Best soundtrack of all time. I can't wait.
I really enjoyed the game on the Xbox, but I hated how the demo portrayed the game as a hack and slash, and ended right before that stage battle.
I mean, you could still play the game that way, but you'd probably lose and get overwhelmed. I wish they'd been more honest with their marketing - I don't remember them saying anything about the RTS aspects until release.
It might be part of the new Double Fine Bundle.

Yes please, this game has the coolest world ever.
Only thing im happy about here is the fact that someone will rip the models and world and put it in another game which will be epic!
Very interested, I've always wanted to try it out.
With all the extra money they got from the Double Fine Adventure Kickstarter I'm not surprised they're using the extra to do stuff like this.
this is the first time I've audibly gasped at the sight of a topic title
I've always wanted to play this.
Honestly. The problem with this game was more of the fact that it was really hard to manage with a controller. I can see the rts aspect doing pretty well on pc.
Liked it a lot when it first came out. The RTS parts were bad though. It was kinda a pity buy. It's unique and has a lot of heart but you knew it was going to sell like trash. It's totally worth 30 or so dollars.
Hell yeah, I love Brutal Legend but I'm to lazy to play it on the PS3, the beginning where you pick up the axe and fight with Children of the Grave playing was the coolest thing ever when it first game out.
Jack motherfuckin Black... Too bad that KG isnt in there.

Plus you can't jump in this game at all.
