I'm an epic n00b when it comes to this PW stuff. I've been looking around, reading a few PW battles, and it looks pretty interesting. I really want to learn how to play this, but its sort of confusing.
What are the rules? How do you win? Whats to stop someone from being a douche and saying "HAHA UR GUIEZ MISSED MINE NAO IM GO AND MAKE MY RADIO DUDE CALL IN 500 NUKES AND THEN HE WILL TELEPORT AWAY SO HE DOESNT DIE AND I WIN"?
Thats what really confuses me. What are the rules and limitations of units? What if I had a super-epic-death-robot that was 50 feet tall and shot explosive laser beams or some other overkill shit like that? I'd love to learn how to play.
First of all. Don't say n00b.
Yes, Joshua is right. Do not Ever in life say "n00b"
Second of all, don't do PW.
Actually. You can do PW. Just do it on the forums. They have threads that tell you this stuff.

or wait for the custom forum. I'm sure someone will make a thread for it.
Yeah this is the forums

Please, don't do it here.
My apologies. I meant no inconvenience.
I like chicken nuggets.

Have you ever had deer jerky?
You can get it real cheap this time of year.
All you have to do is take a shotgun, point it at the sky, and shoot!
*I'll understand if you don't get the joke*
But all jokes aside, if you want to learn how to play PW then just read a couple of PW Threads. You'll get the idea.

I stopped reading.

Stop hatin'
Right PW is easy, there isn't really a rule set to it just don't make the game imbalanced. Things like super soldiers, nukes and invincible people is what I mean.
Now you understand that, go make your army. Make each person less than 30px high and scale larger objects to your people. Make guns, base objects, tanks all sorts. Then when it comes to a game, ask to join. If they say yes, go ahead to the next step. If they say no, keep asking in games that are starting out if you can play.
Right, so you have your game. There will be a map at the top of the screen, if your in a 2 person game continue, else skip to the next paragraph. If its a 2 player game, open firefox (this is improtant because in IE if you copy an image it darkens it), copy the map into paint. Then in a new window open up your image with all your army people. Then using copy and paste its just all up to your imagination.
If your in a game with more than two people (e.g 3 people), then there is either a "turn order" or you use the "declare" system. With a turn order its exactly what it says on the tin, you go in an order. If it uses a declare system this means you have to declare you are editing the map. If someone has already declared then you must wait until they have finished before declaring, e.g you can't go "I delcare after <person>", this is called stack declaring.
Things to remember:

Don't be imbalanced.
Always save as .png
Don't use anti-aliasing
Include a description with your turn
Be active in your matches
Use firefox
Don't declare to often
Don't stack declare

Hope this helped.
You could also use Google Chrome, just don't use IE that's the main thing when uploading.

Invert. If he goes to that forum all he will receive is angry assholes yelling at him saying BAAWW YOUR SPRITES SUCK BAWW aolejsreioehjridf;dsk.
So far the FP subforum for PW has been nicer to the newer people.
Aperture Fan has an official tutor.
Drop the thread.
