I am planning on buying a new cannon vixia hf s20 camcorder tonight. However canon is coming out with the new S30 and G10 on march 14th...Does anyone know if they will drop there prices of other cameras because the new ones are coming out? My dilemma is this, i would wait and see, but my film class is having us do a project in a couple days and i need a camera...so cant really wait
They wouldn't immideatly drop the prices on their other camcorders. It would be redundant as people would buy the old ones for cheap instead of the new ones.
The G12 won't change the price point at all, its a camera, not a camcorder.
