I closed my eyes and pretended that they were just a really good sounding indie band
Then I opened my eyes and realized its just a gimmick, like Gaga or Perry
Music is still awesome though
ignore visuals, listen to music. Holy shit that was hard.
but yea, these guys are pretty good.
It was like a train-wreck
It was so horrible I could not look away
Unlike a train-wreck, it actually sounded pretty good.
Holy shit, I love SPG!
My favorite song, and performance, by them.

Hop on each others' dicks some more. I thought they did pretty well.
why the sudden hatred for steampunk in here
Didn't Abney Park to the Steampunk band thing already? It's not an original idea

I think this song is pretty good, except that the lyrics are painful to listen to
I don't see why so much hate for them doing a Steampunk theme. Sure it isn't original, but they pull it off well.
It's not like some cheesy Steampunk band that play covers at fruity conventions.
I feel like at this point Steampunk has gotten too popular for its own good
It used to be about the technological and historical aspects of the Industrial Revolution, and how that could be twisted into a new reality. As in, the Hindenburg/Macon/Akron/Shenandoah/R34/R100/R101 crashes never happened, WWI happened differently, etc
Now it seems like it's a bunch of posers gluing gears and copper on shit
Don't get me wrong though. There are still MANY skilled artists and craftsmen who do steampunk related work, but I think as a whole, the culture has deflated

Take these for example
Bad.

That's a low quality felt top hat with shit glued on it.
Good!

Good craftsmanship, it's modeled off of a weapon from the era (C-96), and looks functional and stylish at the same time.
I thought the song was good
Aww man, I thought someone had made a giraffe robot. I am sad now.
God, they're amazing
I especially love this:

Uh no, it's quite literally a replica han solo blaster, just repainted.

Surprised nobody has posted Clockwork Vaudeville, yet.

I think this is also up there with the best songs.
its 2 am and what am i watching
I wanted to see an actual steam powered giraffe
I really like their enthusiasm, and they're definitely showmen, that's for sure. Their music is unique, and has a nice flare to it.
That being said, their makeup is okay, but their costumes could use a little work.
