Crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) are non-medical facilities that seek to counsel women out of having abortions. Many of these clinics have confusing names and advertising that suggest they provide abortion services, and others provide misleading medical information to discourage women from having abortions.

misleading medical information
How is THIS legal?!
A cool app would be showing women where legitimate women's health clinics like planned parenthood are and where these fake clinics are.
I hope this trope of forcing people into having kids when they're clearly not ready for it stops soon. It's just going to ruin the life of the child and everyone involved.

I'm actually curious where these claims are coming from. the article isn't quoting anyone or citing anything. It seems like their just unilaterally saying these places do those things.

googling is pretty useful

Google already made a perfect app for that called Google Maps.

Googling doesn't give me their source. I'm not even saying they're wrong. It just seems odd that they would make a pronouncement like that without any source at all.
For example, the "confusing names and advertising" just seems to come down to things like being listed as "abortion alternatives" in the yellow pages, but it's hard to know what they're talking about since they don't tell us.

Same way shutting down real clinics is by forcing onerous regulations on them for "safety" (you know for the antiregulation party, they sure love a good highly regulated abortion clinic...)

"Abortions can be risky procedures, some of the complications can include infertility and even death"
You say that without any considerations of the possibilities of such things. It is technically true, but misleading as having an abortion I believe has less of a risk than a colonoscopy.
people who chose to make these clinics are the embodiment of the phrase "it's your fault for being raped"
some days i wonder how these dirtbags sleep at night

Itm not sure what's worse, that abortions have a lower mortality rate than colonoscopies or that colonoscopies have a mortality rate...
