Russian Lawmaker Sees Apple's U2 Album as Gay 'Propaganda'

Putin actually has nothing to do with it. It's a couple of pretty high-ranking (inside their own departments and commissions) parliament members with reeeeeeeally shady past pushing for this shit and media picking it up and running with it, making free publicity to these morons and providing the image of public support. Putin's government doesn't really care about this sort of shit, they're far too busy lining their pockets.

I blame closets. If it weren't for these damn things, homosexual parliament members wouldn't have anywhere to hide and make impression of strict traditionalists.
