I think everyone already knew how to make these kind of homemade cheap stuffs.

I would not trust a microphone in a home made boom pole made out of cardboard tubes. If it falls out its completely fucked, many times have I seen expensive microphones die due to lack of care like this.
and boom poles don't make your voice more clear, they just make it easier to position the microphone.
Informative, I guess. Doesn't seem like the best thing to do though.
