I need help. Not help as in help, but advice.
INB4: LOSE WEIGHT, EAT HEALTHIER, HERP DERP. EXERCISE
I am going to start exercising but I'm not sure what the fastest way is. I'm going to try running, but even with a belt my pants are hard as hell to keep up, which fucking sucks. I have a gigantic backpack too, which my mom probably won't take to her car with her.
I'm doing this shearly for me, because I was skinny earlier this year but then I gained like fifty pounds. Any suggestions?
Please only C+C
TDLR: FAT ASS NEEDS TO LOSS WEIGHT.
I plan to exercise, eat less, eat healthier, and all that jazz. I was just wondering if their was a quick way or a certain "correct" way of doing it.
Burn more calories than you take in, simple.
Running is best for burning fat, just don't overdo it. keep it moderate while you're out of shape else might end up using muscle tissue aswell.
Oh and drink a lot of water.
[editline]8th May 2011[/editline]
Weight lifting can also help as having more muscle mass requires more calories to feed the muscle tissue thus accelerating fat loss.
Won't drinking a lot of water, help me gain weight?
AND ALSO. I can't weight lift, i'm weak.
Oh also how do I calculate how many calories I'm burning?
Good luck _b
Don't use being weak as an excuse for not weightlifting. Even the weakest weakling can lift 8 lb single hand weights, and bench 45 lbs (the weight of the bar)
Drink water and work out, for fucks sake it's not that complicated.
Example, I started working at McDonalds. I figured I would start gaining weight from this increase in food stuffs so I started drinking water and working out. Ended up 16 pounds less from where I started since I started working.

No. Just try to eat/drink as little sugar and carbohydrates as possible. Fat is good for you, so buy products that make you full that has lots of protein (cheese, cream, etc) as well seeing that you are "weak" in your muscles.
Never buy meat without fat. It's supposed to be there, don't cut it off.
I go by the LCHF diet (Low Carbohydrates High Fat) and I sleep better, have lost weight, I concentrate a bit better, and overall just a bit more happier. But with like any other diet, it has it's downsides. I experienced a mild depression because of the loss of sugar, (sugar addictiveness fuck you) and began to feel tired all the time the very first weeks. Google up on it if you want to find out more
Anyway, if you live in a country like the US it might be hard to get the real products - products with FAT that is (and GOOD meat). Never, ever fucking buy products that say "diet" or "amazingly low-fat" - they often have insanely high amount of added sugar/carbs or other nasty shit your body doesn't need.
The point of the diet I think is to get into your natural balance of eating. In the beginning it's going to be really hard but you have to believe in it if it's going to work. My big brother has nearly lost 10kg after 3 or 4 weeks without any exercise. Imagine if you do work out AND go by this diet - you will get kicking rad muscles and look skinnier.
Edit:
You probably don't even need to be so strict with this diet, just try to eat products with high fat and low carbs. The more carbs and less fat - the less full and hungrier you will feel. The less carbs and more fat - the more full and less hungrier you will feel.
Try to stay under at least 10g of carbohydrates every day. Also watch the calories if you are REALLY strict with losing weight. (I'm not watching my calorie intake, but I still lose weight because I eat less every day)
And also, don't expect people to understand why this would be healthy. When I first heard about it I instantly thought "What about the diet products? Are they BAD for you?" and in short, yes they are. Really bad.
I haven't got the time to find sources but as I have been told, the fat issues in various countries (the UK, the US) have gotten worse with the increase of diet products. Why that is because of the carbohydrates in the products. They make the person feel more hungry more often, so you eat MORE of the diet products or anything that has sugar in it because you will trigger your sugar-addiction again.
I gotta go to school now but I hope I can answer anyones questions later
Friend of mine went on a pretty much 100% protein diet for a week.
I think he said he lost somewhere around 5-10 pounds (exercising of course)
Don't take in a lot of protein unless you want to get more weight just do a lot of running or swimming and eat smart.
Give up drinking soda
Okay contradicting information. Is Protein bad or good for me? Derrygoon says I want more weight if I eat protein. ALSO:
Would not eating anything at all help at all?
And lifting those five pound-fifteen hand weights wouldn't do anything to lose acutal belly fat would it? Just curious.
I'm not like that FAT, but it's become noticeable that people call me FAT. So I need information..
EDIT:
Yeah. I will give up drinking soda.
Supplement.

Protein is essential, get plenty of it.
Like I said man it's all about burning more calories than you take in, and running is the key to fat loss as you are utilizing your legs, which are your largest muscles in your body, and as such require the most energy / calories to operate.

No. You need to focus on activities which improve your condition. Do running/jogging, cycling, boxing, jump the rope, for example.
I cut out soda and other sweet and kept the rest of my daily routine the same (about 3 miles walked per day) and I've lost 20lbs so far. About a month.
I lost 40 pounds since this January simply cutting away all of the excess junk I was eating, and drinking water instead of soda.
Remember, these things take time, so don't give up after 2 weeks.
Moving this thread was a workout
You don't seem very enthusiastic or willing to give it a good go. Get a gym membership.
I'm willing to give it a go. As long as I have music, I'm fine. I'm kind of not motivated when I don't have it though.
Would walking hep?
I have to walk home from my school which is like three miles. I don't run due to the highway and sidewalk being right thur.
You should, as said before, quit soda completely. It's not hard to do, just don't drink it at all and drink water. Just that right there will help significantly. Run a lot. Push yourself. Improve your times. Start out eating the same amount you do, just much less junk. Cut out most sweets. You can have some sweets, but try to cut down as much as possible, like having only one small candy a day or something. Slowly progress eating less as you lose weight. Count the calories so you know how much you eat.
Alright. Thanks for the help everyone. I really apperciate it. I think this has been most help, i've ever gotten on facepunch but it's completly fine.
I'm a asshole, I'm trying to work on that with the weight loss.

Without protein you will lose muscle instead of fat.
Everyone can do strength training, even if they're weak. How do you think people get strong?
You should do cutting.
Gayswiss, get in here.
Here's a helpful tip, fatty. Don't lose weight and look at your progress for a short time (IE, dropping down a waist size for your pants) and say that you did a lot of work then eventually stop because you think you're a healthy person, because chances are you're still not and you're probably still fat.
Persistence and Perseverance.

Ok first of all, don't run in pants, that will make you over heat quickly and is just plain retarded, you should always be running in shorts it's way easier and will help you run faster.
[editline]10th May 2011[/editline]
if you run with pants you will make no progress

Yes. I used to never drink water, but I got pressured into it by my friends. One thing led to another, and I was addicted to it, and pretty much over night, I went from 140lbs to 260.
