Honestly, the amount of times people are going, "I think its about drugs" while gliding lines of coke up their nose and shit is just so "WAT"
It's a no brainer why the cops want to deal with this type of thing. Not only does it allow them to grab potential users and shove them into rehab, but you also have the dealers which can be sacked and prosecuted for possession and distribution of narcotics.

ha
Knowledge of modern surveillance techniques, especially the ones employed in London of all places really makes any paranoia about people ratting out those raves kinda silly. The only reason they dont go after you right away is because they dont care enough, but as soon as they want to expend the effort they can just dig into the data they already have and figure it out.
Vice really likes to make a wide out of focus shot that slowly focuses as people talk.
Vice really likes to make documentaries on issues and pretend they're really major and important when they aren't. Remind me of their one on the 'child soldiers of the IRA' or something stupid like that.

I don't think Vice pretends they're important issues, I think they're just presented in a documentary style that we associate with important issues. It's presented this way because it's fashionable and easier to present it like this. The presenter never really mentions wider implications; it's just a sympathetic treatment of a demonised subculture.

Are you trying to say that children raised into sectarian violence is not serious?

I think it's necessary to point out that we can assume most of these people aren't addicts and have no need for rehab, they're taking party drugs at a party
I live in Denbigh and can confirm these raves happen regularly, some of the people in that segment are my friends.

They're definitely not major issues that you or I might bump into, but I think that's whats kind of interesting about VICE docs. They cover topics that you either don't hear about often, or don't hear about at all, even if the doc itself isn't that good you still can end up learning about something.
